I cannot praise this company enough!  They completely transformed my front lawn from grass to desert landscaping in a mere three days with dramatic results.  It's stunning!  Neighbors and strangers alike actually stop to compliment the beautiful results. I've used Mauri Landscapes for several years for weeding and cleanup in my yard. Chris Mauri and his crew are great! Last week, Michael and another worker came to plant six shrubs, check my watering system, apply a weed treatment, and do weeding and cleanup. They did an excellent job. Mauri Landscapes has done several different projects on my property and I have received only 5-Star service each time. I had a few pictures of raised gardens that I found on line to show Chris. Stop your search-pick Mauri! They really are different than any other company out there.  A family business that will go way out of their way to ensure customer satisfaction. We wanted to convert our grass to desert landscaping. They quoted us a fair price and the work was completed in one day. The crew was very friendly and worked diligently to get the job done. In fact, they finished the job sooner than they had estimated so we received a credit for future landscaping (we also had the option of getting a refund check)!  I was shocked! The day after our landscaping was complete we noticed a problem with our backflow leaking (it had been leaking, was not due to the conversion). I called Chris and he sent the foreman out to check on it that day. They were able to squeeze us in to fix that (they are very busy and booked out a month or so as is) and even beat a competitor's price.  Overall we feel very taken care of and would not go anywhere else for future landscaping needs. Mauri Landscapes is an excellent company! I've used them twice. The first time I emailed photos of my seemingly ill plants and asked they come take a look. Instead I received a detailed voice message and second call back talking of their health and that it was just the 110 degree heat that was the issue as the plants like.it hot but not that hot. (Sure enough my plants turned around once it got cooler.) In total I spent 15 minutes learning about the plants and being reassured. Here I was ready to shell out money to have them come take a look at them and instead was given truthful free advice. Needless to say when one the buried irrigation lines started to leak profusely they were the first ones I called back. The next day they were out to repair it. I continue to use Mauri Landscapes for all of my work. Been a customer for 11 years! I have them come in before winter and in the spring for a yard clean up. Also use their tree service for deep treating etc. This year was time to replace a few plants and also support my wall climbing plants better. John came out and looked it over. I was sure it would cost an arm and a leg for all I wanted done but it was really very reasonable. Especially considering the yard needed work AND 13 plants. Chris's team is AMAZING. They worked on both our front and back yards, making previously horrible designs into something wonderful. There were dying plants and weeds everywhere, courtesy of the previous owners' neglect. His team got the work done in three days, which is seriously impressive considering the amount of work being done. Tons of rock was removed and replaced, a beautiful dry riverbed was put in with easy to care for plants planted around it. Completely new irrigation systems were installed. Our artificial turf will be installed in a week, but I foresee no problems with that.To anyone looking for a landscaper, Chris is your guy. I can't recommend him strongly enough. Mauri Landscaping transformed our backyard!  It was a jungle with most of it unusable from the previous owners. With Chris's help, we designed a clean uncluttered and much bigger yard. Mauri's crew were professional and hard working. We used Chris's sub contractors to pebble tech our spa pool, install artificial turf and build a separate patio cover.  After the install, Chris walked us through the yard step-by-step. He also provided us a packet that included all our plants, their location in the yard, and how to take care of them. The plants are warrantied, so we don't have to worry about cost if they don't survive the initial planting. Our yard is lovely and peaceful. We love it. I had such a hard time finding a legitimate landscaping company. I contacted several of the top-rated yelp landscapers and it was a nightmare. The companies either no-call no-showed, came out then never got back to me with a quote, or the representative was questionable. Finally, I called Mauri Landscapes and they were wonderful.The receptionist is so friendly and responsive. She always calls the day before an appointment with a reminder. She forwards my messages to the owner so I'm never ignored. The owner himself (Chris) came out for the landscaping consult. We talked in-depth about what I wanted and did not want. A few days later, I went out to their landscaped property to walk around and look at different options for my yard. Chris spent about half an hour with me making suggestions and explaining the life-cycles of different trees and plants that I was interested in (he's a very nice, knowledgable guy). We had Mauri Landscapes come out at the end of June to do our backyard. When we went to do the consultation and pick out our landscape I felt like I was with family. Chris was able to pick out plants to work with us having a dog and baby and also make the yard look great!  They did an amazing job! Even through the 115 degrees temperatures outside. They were very professional. We had some issues with the grass and trees (I think the heat was just too much!) Chris came out to see what was going on and once it cooled off a little, his guys came out and replaced everything that had died, sticking to his word of a one year warranty on all plants.They also installed lighting outside which looks great. They took their time and layer it everything they would do from a new water feature to some trees and shrubs around the corner of the yard. Mauri Landscape is simply the best! We found them to be an honest, customer service-oriented (family) business focused on meeting OUR needs in a professional and cost-efficient manner. Within a short period of time, our entry steps and front yard was transformed from looking very benign to beautiful, exactly as planned and within budget. We also found their Artificial Turf Sub-Contractor shared their same customer service-related goals and objectives. Overall Mauri Landscape exceeded our expectations, we are very happy with our project's outcome and would highly recommend them to others. I moved into a home with a completely dead front lawn, so part of my welcome package included a friendly note from my HOA to get back in compliance.  And stat.After speaking with a few landscaping companies, we went with Mauri because we liked that they were a family business, and because they seemed to have good reviews.  So we booked our landscaping appointment for their first possible opening, about 3 weeks out.So how did it turn out?  I'm really glad we chose Mauri, and I'd definitely go with them again.  While they might not execute perfectly the first time, what IS fantastic is that they are willing to make things right.  Day of the landscaping, a crew of 5-6 came in and got to work.  Everyone seemed nice and friendly, and work proceeded.  There were a few hiccups -- the wrong plant got taken out and a few trees weren't planted evenly, but they fixed most things we noticed.  That said, things felt a bit rushed and we weren't 100% sure about what we ended up with.  "At least I don't have the ugliest lawn on the street," I thought, and left it at that.Then the one month followup came up and Chris came back to chat with us.  At first we weren't going to say anything because things mostly seemed to work, but we decided since we weren't 100% happy that we WOULD tell him.  And it was then that I really felt good about our decision to go with Mauri.  I was impressed that Chris listened to our concerns, and didn't make any excuses at all.  Instead we went through everything that could be improved, and he scheduled someone to come back out that same week to fix everything.  Our bushes were replanted so they would be straight, and an ailing plant got replaced with a healthier version.  The leaking hoses were fixed, and they even let us add a few extra plants at no extra labour cost. We also took this opportunity to add a contrasting rock to fill out our yard.So now instead of just being relieved not to have a dead lawn, I feel a little happier ever time I walk by our front yard.  I'm really glad we spoke up, and I'm really glad they listened and fixed everything.  Thanks Mauri! This review is long overdue, but the last two years have given me time to appreciate how well the Mauri Landscapes design has held up.  Every month it seems like something new is blooming.  I told Chris Mauri that I wanted color and he listened!  What has absolutely blown me away, though, is how great the lighting design turned out!  We get lots of compliments from the neighbors.I feel that all the work was done at a very reasonable price.  I continue to use this company for semi-annual maintenance.Chris Mauri, his family, and everyone he employs are the nicest people imaginable.  They are a joy to work with. Mauri Landscaping is wonderful and I would absolutely recommend their services.  My husband and I got married in March and before the wedding we wanted to spruce up and finish the landscaping in our backyard.  I requested an estimate and Chris came out the same week to take a look.  He had some great ideas and was so easy to work with.  He booked the job right away to make sure everything was done before the wedding.  The crew was punctual, friendly, and extremely hardworking.  They finished on time and the backyard looked amazing.  The night following the job was extremely windy and one of the new trees fell over.  I called the next morning and they came right over to fix it.  The following week Chris came over to review the work.  He found a few minor items to fix and the crew came over and took care of everything.  Overall the price was good, the work was excellent, and the customer service was awesome.  I would definitely use Mauri Landscaping in the future. These are my go to folks for our annual tree trimming.  We have a very large well established Mesquite and several smaller trees on our property.  And ever since we have started using Mauri Landscapes we have not lost a single tree or had any wind damage from heavy branches falling.  The tree canopies look great year round with their annual maintenance.  The team that comes out are extremely professional, considerate of your home and the neighbors.  They always arrive a few minutes early than their scheduled time, they get right to work and all plant material/trimmings are disposed of on site via their chipper.Highly recommend Chris and his team for any landscaping needs. Chris and his team did a fantastic job with our very very small back yard. Their prices were a little higher than others but the quality of work made us very happy and worry free. He came up with a plan that made our yard look much bigger than it really is. They replaced a plant that didn't make it. All the other plants did great and three years later we are still happy with the results. They even did a couple things free of charge. Looking for Landscapers in Las Vegas is not an easy task.   I asked many folks who they used and most people said, "Mauri Landscapes. "     I called and made an appointment and Chris (the Owner) came out and we walked through the yard and came up with a plan which involved adding trees, plants and redoing the lighting in the yard to better accentuate the trees and landscaping that already existed.    Their workers were very good and very communicative.   I was thrilled at the finished product and would definitely hire them again, which I am planning to do today since I'm writing this review! :)What was extra special about these folks was their ability to listen and help plan the landscaping plan.    Like others have said, Chris is very knowledgeable about all of the native plants and provides a tour of his home's gardens to see the plants that each client decides to use.He also has a tree service company that is run by Mike, an arborist by trade.   He did a fantastic job in our yard as well. i have used other landscape companies in the past - and never got service like this. they wrote up a good estimate - took a lot of time with us to let us pick out just the plants that we really wanted.  then drew up a plan that helped us to see exactly what we were getting. then, when they came to actually do the work - they were incredibly efficient, respectful and tidy. they also gave us good advice and were generally quite helpful and kind.i highly recommend this company. Mauri did a fantastic job on our little backyard. As with many homes in Las Vegas, there isn't a tremendous amount of room, but they were able to make the area interesting, green and functional. We really appreciated the hands-on approach they have to designing an area; we would go down to their offices and discuss what we wanted, they would show us a plan and we could apply modifications right then and there. We actually took the plan home, mulled about it for a week, then called them up and informed them of some final changes we wanted to see - they were more than happy to oblige. We are *extremely* happy with our backyard.Furthermore, Chris, the owner, did an inspection of the work 2 or 3 weeks after installation, helped set up our watering system, explained how and when the plants will grow, how to care for them, and even provided us with a packet with the information he told us. We felt very equipped to manage our backyard - which is excellent as we have a terrible history of basically straight up killing plants due to cluelessness.Beyond that, they have a maintenance service we decided to use to handle some of our plants in the front yard. There were some which were included with the house that we honestly had no idea how to trim, and their service came out and handled it all for us. We even noticed they went above and beyond - they spotted that several trees in the front yard had lower flow drip systems than what they should have been receiving, so they actually fixed that for us as just part of the regular maintenance. I got cheaper quotes, I won't kid you. But these guys are the best! AND they guarantee the plants far longer than the cheaper quotes, making me wonder if those OTHER plants would survive. I hired them to fix a leak and asked for estimates while they were there. Wow, the estimates were great so I had them continue on with the work.
I'm still in the process of finding my issue with water pressure as fixing the leak didn't fix the pressure, but... they were even professional when I got snippy, which was bad on my part. The work done was so clean and efficient, and their rates are unbelievable.
Not only will I hire them again, but I'm going to make decisions to move forward with other projects I had on hold for years. They've already removed stumps that another company left years ago, they relaid my drip system and it is PERFECT. They removed and trimmed a couple trees. I will now have them review my piping and sprinklers. Their professionalism is a rare find in Las Vegas. On time, efficient, courteous. More...

We interviewed no less than 5 landscape contractors. Mauri Landscaping won out because they were very curteous as well as professional. They were very quick to return a plan for our review. They listed all the individual costs including profit. They explained why they were the best choice and then followed through on everything they said. The receptionist was always available to coordinate details and get quick answers. Helping to pick out the plants at the nursery was fun as well as beneficial to our overall result. I picked things I may not have without seeing them in person. They had a six man crew out here and got it done in one day and done well. The plants were all well picked and healthy. They also give you a booklet with details for care of each plant as well as a map so that you know what is what. They ae very knowledgeable and seemed to have a lot of experience and not just stock advice. They also did not ask for any money down or up front. They offer a two year warranty on plants and irrigation. That is quite good in this area. Overall. Very pleased. I felt like I got my money's worth.PROS: good warranty and great staff.

When I bought a new house, I had an 11,000 sqaure foot lot that needed to be landscaped. I called on Mauri Landscapes to come out and design my back yard for me. They asked all the pertinent questions as to what I wanted included in the backyard (patio? covered? grass? plants? planter box? walkway? trees?) and then designed the perfect back yard. It was also nice to be able to go to a nursery and show them exactly what type of plants I liked or disliked before the final plans were drawn up. Their crew was professional (no loud music to annoy the neighbors while they worked!) and they had the work done when promised. The pricing was fair and the work was done as was outlined in the design that I was shown before the work was started.
