Having been to a few events where Matthew has performed,when it came to organising my Mums 60th I knew exactly who to book for the entertainment on her special day.
I wasn’t sure how it would all tie in but he took full charge and made some great suggestions on how it would all flow.
He catered for all ages, did some up close magic whilst people were arriving and then did a set on the stage for us all to enjoy. He catered for the younger ones and performed some magic specifically for them to keep them entertained and also got them involved during the show.
Everyone commented on how fantastic he was and what a brilliant idea it was for him to perform at our Garden Party. I would highly recommend him for any type of event.

How long have you been interested in magic?
I started out as a juggler when I was 10 years old, my Mum used to leave me in a juggling shop in Manchester called Mushy Pea (the shop, not my mum). The guys in there would teach me new juggling tricks but there was also a magic department at the back where a young guy started teaching me a few magic tricks. Before I knew it, I was hooked.
I started performing at kids parties at the age of 13 then street performing at 14 and on to illusions on stage by the time I was 15, my Dad was my "roadie" & my Grandad was chief carpenter. I've been performing professionally ever since.
Take us through your show – what can we expect?
Exactly what your event needs. I've performed at thousands of events over the years which has lead me to learn that being able to adapt to the situation on the fly is an absolute must, there are thousands of magic tricks but only a select few that will work for each particular audience so I make sure I have plenty in my arsenal that I can switch between as and when I need to.
Typically I perform in a contemporary and humorous style where I experience the magic along with the audience, favouring the "I can do some pretty cool stuff, let's enjoy it together" rather than a "look how good I am" style. I perform with everyday objects such as cards, coins, pens, bank notes & dice (hence the profile pic) so that the magic comes across as a lot more real and in-keeping with the event. On that subject, if I'm representing a particular company or celebration, I like to get playing cards made especially for that purpose, feel free to ask about this as well as tailoring specific magic tricks to a company or message.
What do you love most about your job?
Adapting to provide the best entertainment I can, this means I can always generate a "buzz" which is the whole reason I'm there and the whole reason I love my job. I like to get small groups laughing and joining in together before moving on to the next group to do the same.
What inspired you to start your own business?
To love what I do every single day, I was pretty much running a full time magic business alongside teaching so I took the leap, travelled the world for a year then came back as a full time magician.
Why should our clients choose you?
For the impression I will leave on their guests of their event. Even guests that are a little more reserved, I have the knack of winning over and making sure they have a great time at the event. Clients love my professionalism, punctuality and dedication to provide the best possible service for their event.
