Matt photographed our wedding in August. We both felt so lucky to have had the most wonderful day where everything fell into place, ran smoothly and everyone had a great time. Matt was definitely a part of this in his photography. He is a very versatile photographer who's pictures are fabulous in terms of the range of natural, formal, close up and arty and whole scenes. We love both the colour and black and white images he has taken also.The photos are such quality. Matt took time to understand that neither of us like having our picture taken (apart from a silly selfie) and neither of us like ourselves in pictures or feel photogenic. To have such a gorgeous set of wedding pictures to treasure forever that we both love is a testament to his work. We also had 3 different locations on the day from getting ready, the registry office and reception venue and Matt styled this like the pro he is, even popping to the reception before hand to look at where the good shots might be. Matt always kept in touch with us from the start to end of the process and added little personalised touches for us along the way that were beautiful and thoughtful. We wanted lots of fun and natural shots and he did this perfectly by fitting into the day casually but also using a little secret stealth. We didnt feel like the photos were an obligatory task but casual and enjoyable. We booked Matt after he did the photos for a friends wedding. From the start he was very professional, very friendly and basically a really nice guy to work with. Most importantly Matt responded quickly to any email enquiry and when you are planning a wedding, good communication with people involved is a god send! We didn't want morning shots so Matt did us a great deal for, I think we had him for 5 hours, although he stayed an extra hour free of charge so he could get our first dance! Matt blended in really well with the guests and no one felt like they had a camera in their face. I've seen some photos that I don't recall Matt even being there to take them! We now have our photos back and we couldn't be happier with them. Wedding photos are so important and you have to get it right with the photographer you hire, we certainly did when we asked Matt to be part of our day. Not only is he a lovely guy to work with but he also has a persona that puts you at ease in front of the camera so you look relaxed, he's also a bit of a cutie.... My husband and I had Matt as our wedding photographer and we couldn't have been more pleased that we chose him! From the very beginning he was very communicative and easy to reach, and always more than happy to answer any questions or queries we had. We met up with him a couple of times to go through ideas and talk through what to expect. We ended up booking a pre-wedding shoot and got some lovely pictures - a nice preview of what was to come! We are both quite camera shy which is why we loved Matt's documentary style photography. For the few formal pictures that we did do, he was excellent at making us feel at ease, which is something our wedding guests also commented on. Fenella and I got married 2 months ago and we are so pleased that we chose Matt to capture our wedding day. We had a long engagement so we initially spoke to a number of photographers to see if there was a good fit. From our 1st call with Matt it was clear he was the guy for us, very professional, relaxed and personable at the same time. We met him in Brighton to look through his work and his style which confirmed it was a great match. The photos he captured of the day are perfect and depict the tone and happiness amazingly.We wanted a documentary style of everyone just enjoying themselves without realising their was a camera in the room. Everyone was so comfortable, some can’t even remember him being there (a good thing!), and he also managed to instruct a very excited newly wed couple around Green Park in London to get some stunning photos. The post-wedding services have been brilliant, we received an amazing (teaser) slide show which we still love and cant stop watching after a month. Recently we received all the photos which are online so we can share with friends and family who can view and order prints. The whole process is so smooth and easy!
