Reservations were for 6pm, arrived at 6pm and was immediately seated. Waitress explained the menu and specials and answered all the questions, great recommendations were made for the evening. Visited Matteo's for the first time last weekend. It was a superb place for a nice date night dinner. The inside is nicely decorated and love the classy, elegant feel. Our server honestly could have been more attentive during our dinner but he was very nice and his recommendations ended up being very good. The Quattro formaggio chicken was absolutely the best! One of the most incredible things I've ever had! The ravioli appetizer and salad was great too! Unfortunately we were out of room for dessert but the dessert menu looked enticing too. Next time! Fantastic Italian restaurant on the square in Noblesville. Good cocktails (close to the way I make them). The breaded fried veal stuffed green olives were a tasteful treasure; they are a must order! Always enjoy coming to this place - classy interior, but casual atmosphere. My husband surprised me and took me here for dinner last night. He used to come here when he worked jobs in the area, but I hadn't ever been. I love Italian food, and this was one of my favorite places we've been. We both had a great glass of Chianti to start with their delicious bread and oil. We split the Caesar salad, which was also great. I had the veal piccata which is my go to Italian dish. It came over pasta, and all of it was so good! The best veal piccata I've had since living in Indy. The sauce was amazing, and if it were socially acceptable to lick the plate, I would have. We then split a piece of tiramisu for dessert which was tasty, but it was on the small side for the price. My only downfall for this place was everything seemed to take a long time. We had reservations, but weren't seated until 15 minutes after our reservation time because there wasn't a host to greet us. Our waitress was great, but it was clear she was checking the kitchen a lot for our food that was taking a while. We will definitely be back! More...

A good place for a nice dinner, Although more of an expensive choice compared to others, while the sirloin had great taste there was more fat than actual meat, Every dish other than that was exceptional. Met friends for dinner there this past Saturday evening. Always a treat. Actually got pizza for an appetizer and could have eaten a few more of those! The fresh, hot bread is also fantastic! My husband and I chose this restaurant to celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary. When I made the reservation, I noted twice that this was a special occasion.
