DJ Mattana, aka Carys Evans, provides funky beats from around the world. Specialising in Afro/Latin, funk and disco, she also DJs at a range of parties and events, catering to all tastes.

Mattana's eclectic taste comes from a passion for dance and music from around the world. As a DJ and multi-instrumentalist, performing, writing and teaching in a range of genres, she has had the chance to perform in a variety of settings ranging from Ugandan night clubs to Twickenham Stadium. Mattana is a strong believer in the power of music to unite and break down cultural boundaries, with her DJ sets reflecting her global influences. She is a passionate advocate for equality and social justice, and enjoys being part of a collective of strong women, rising up and banding together to make their voices heard.
