Training with Matt has really made a positive difference. I’ve tried every diet you can think of and had numerous gym memberships in the past and none have inspired or worked for me in the past. Having reviewed Matt’s approach I committed to giving it a go and what an excellent decision it was.
I’m currently 8 weeks into my programme with Matt, results are excellent and I feel fitter and healthier than I have in years.
I’ve lost 2 stone in weight and a total of 15.5 inches.
I highly recommend Matt, he’s motivational, knows his stuff, tailors the programme to fit your needs (and past injuries) and is an all round nice guy 👍

After thinking about how to get back on track after an injury, I found Matt and I am so grateful! He understood how to work around the injury from his own past experiences and also kept sessions fun and different each time. He is very personable and made me feel at ease rather than embarrassed. Matt is the best PT I have had, he really motivated me and sent me each lesson plan so I was able to set myself challenges and aim to beat previous times etc. The sessions were at my house which was perfect for me. He is really knowledgeable and answered any questions I had about the exercises and nutrition. Thanks to Matt I now have a better understanding on what works well for myself and the motivation to keep going! I enjoyed each session, especially the boxing :) would highly recommend to anyone!! Matt is a great PT, he's friendly, knowledgeable, supportive and knows when to push you with a plan tailored just for you. He made the sessions fun (well maybe not the lunges) and I feel more confident and physically stronger (and I can now even touch my toes!). Matt has been my trainer for 3 months. Having had a total knee replacement I was nervous about vigorous exercise but Matt has tailored the routines we do to be challenging, progressive and fun whilst taking into account any limitations I have. In this short time together, through his encouragement, I feel stronger, more flexible and balanced, more energetic and have a lot more confidence in my new knee! I cannot recommend Matt highly enough. I had a weekly slot with Matt for the last 3+ years and am only stopping because we are leaving the country (and am even trying to think of ways to continue to get support from him over the internet ! ). Matt is excellent at pushing you just a little more each time and also in being sensitive to when it doesn't make sense to push things. He also comes with a tailor-made plan for each session, which keep things fresh but constantly building. I travel a lot lot and Matt has always been very happy to put together excellent workout plans that I can use anywhere without equipment (beware of the "12 Days of Christmas" routine !). Matt is technically knowledgable, treats fitness holistically, gets the balance just right and is a very nice bloke to spend time with. More...

I've had a great six months working with Matt - he is a great coach, with exactly the right balance of gentle discipline and laid back supportiveness that you need in a personal trainer. His advice on nutrition and general health is really useful, and I was also impressed with the obvious care and attention he paid to coming up with exactly the right exercise regime to suit my needs. Matt was fantastic & he actually made going on a diet enjoyable! He provided lots of support, ideas & explanation. Through a Dissability I have, a side effect of the medication was weight gain & I had to be careful because of my huge cravings & binge eating I would have. For the first time in my life I managed to overcome this. It was hard at first, but purely to do with my old routine. It helped massively that I was still able to eat naughty food... but I just had to be sensible doing so! I managed to loose 1 and a half stone (getting to my target weight)... & astonished that after 1 year I have stayed to this. More...

Having tried (and failed) to lose weight via dieting or going to the gym, my wife bought me an introductory package with Matt. It was, without doubt, one of the best gifts I've ever received.Matt encouraging me to make small changes to diet (which meant that I didn't have to abstain from all the 'nice' things I'm used to) and provided custom workouts weekly, which were challenging enough to stretch me but not so daunting as to be off-putting. Simply put, he pitched the training at precisely the right level to ensure I'd feel the benefit AND keep it up.Two months later, I've lost ten pounds, gained muscles in places I've just NEVER had them, and my waist is four inches smaller - and bear in mind I've still had a few nights on the beer and the odd takeaway!I cannot recommend Matt's services highly enough- as much as it sounds cliche, it's been a life-changer. Matt is a brilliant personal trainer, I feel much stronger and fitter than I expected in a very short time. I would highly recommend him to anyone wanting a personal trainer. Matt is very easy to get on with, and makes my sessions varied - I enjoy not knowing what I will be doing from week to week. Highly recommend Matt Davies. If you're looking to feel good and lose weight, Matt is the 'go to' trainer. I started my journey 4 weeks ago and have lost weight in inches and on the scales; yet I have not had to do any fad diets, in fact I think I ate more and lost weight. The circuits Matt sets are easy to fit in my hectic routine and he's given valuable advice for my endless fitness and diet queries. I first worked with Matt in January 2014. I was sceptical at first but Matt put me at my ease immediately, providing sessions which were personal to my needs. I had a small goal in mind when I started which seemed a long way off. However, having achieved this I realised how much better I felt and continued to work with Matt.
