Great staff! Christine is amazing. Front desk really got my appointments whenever I needed them. Therapists are great too and each have a unique style for what I need at the right time. Relaxation. Deep tissue. Spit work. All great! More...

Thank you to TOM for giving me a great last massage session today. My original therapist was sick and I didn't get the message and showed up anyway. He was about to leave for the day but offered to do my session anyway, and it was more than I had hoped for! Some of the best corrective work I've had there, much needed and much appreciated! I don't get massages often but the experience I had today was awesome. Mark was very kind, gentle yet was not afraid to apply pressure and focus on areas. He found knots I didn't even know I had. Looking forward to coming back! More...

A massage venue is really only as good as your masseuse. I have found an excellent masseuse at this location. The staff is very nice at the front desk. I have been going to this location for over a year and a half. I have the membership and it is a great value. I do have to schedule my massage in advance to ensure I get the masseuse that I prefer but I don't mind. More...

A friend introduced me to therapeutic massage at this location last summer, and I was immediately hooked--enough to become a member and sign up my spouse too. Since then, I have visited Massage Envy locations from Philadelphia to Pasadena to Atlanta, and hands down, my favorite therapist is the aptly named Bless at this location. His hands are anointed! Clean, convenient location. Front desk staff are hit or miss, friendly when you come in but clueless and grumpy when you want to check out. Been a member for over a year, spent many months trying to find a therapist that works for me since everyone's style is different . Finally found two that are great!! Keep trying new ones! There seems to be a high turnover but the good ones stay, so ask for the therapists that have been there the longest or who books up quickly, that will help you land the good ones! Love how it's next to gateway nails. I get a massage , then go next door for mani pedi. Very relaxing afternoons! More...

This was my first time getting a massage so I thought I'd try it out. I didn't really know what to expect but overall I came out happy. Here's the 4-1-1...When I got there I was happily greeted and welcomed. I had Christopher as my therapist and he was really good. I told him what I wanted and he knew what to focus on. We ended up talking for most of the session so if you just want peace and quiet he may not be the best choice. It was a little warm in the room though. At the end of the session, he gave me some recommendations and I think they were spot on. When I was checking out, one of the employees kept prompting me to join a rewards program. I understand that it's a good deal and you save money, but I didn't want to pay for something that I may not use every month. Reiterating, it was my first time getting a massage so I wasn't sure if it was something I would want to pursue again in the future (it's a possibility!). The woman at the desk was VERY pushy in trying to have me join the rewards program. The only reason why I'm not giving this facility five stars is because of her persistence of selling me the rewards program. I know she was just doing her job but it was almost too much that she wouldn't stop badgering me about it. More...

I have been a member for about a year and get massages regularly with Gina.  She is amazing.  I am a big fan of deep tissue massage and before Gina, found myself walking away disappointed.  Not anymore!  If you're looking for someone that has strong hands and attention to your problem areas, Gina is your girl! Finally I found a Massage Envy location with a massage therapist that is in tune with my body!! It is a further drive for me compared to other locations near me but WELL WORTH the drive! ! Mariama is a God Send!! I was getting ready to cancel my membership until I tried Mariama!! She is an experienced massage therapist who knows what she is doing!! It was hard to leave my Costa Mesa, CA location but now since I am here in Philly I found my spot!! More...

While the $60 a month is a little hefty for this pretty bare bones facility, I am overall satisfied with the place. You can probably get cheaper deals through Groupon and/or Living Social but I like to know what to expect with this type of service and Massage Envy provides that consistency. It took me a few trips to find the right massage therapist but when I did, it made all the difference. Nicole is the best! If she leaves, I will follow her! I call her "hands of God" - she melts every trouble away. One day I came in last minute and had an appointment with someone I never tried before. Oh my goodness, he was terrible! Just make sure you research your therapist first. The whole membership thing can be annoying but its a contract and anyone who complains probably didn't read what they signed or didn't think things through before they did sign it. I had one mix up with my membership...I had to pay for a massage on top of my membership fee because I went before my monthly bill had been paid. I had speak with the manager who was fair but not overly accommodating or especially nice. I wouldn't want to deal with her again, let's put it that way... which probably means in some sense, she is doing her job well. I imagine she gets a lot of complainers and people who balk at the rules, like me ;) Even still, isn't the customer always right? She still made me pay the extra amount, but I got an extra massage to compensate so in the end I was happy. I just left feeling like a chastised child that day. More...

While the $60 a month is a little hefty for a membership and is certainly not a steal, I am overall  satisfied with Massage Envy. You can probably get cheaper deals through Groupon and/or Living Social but I like to know what to expect with this type of service and Massage Envy provides that consistency. It took me a few trips to find the right massage therapist but when I did, it made all the difference. Even though there is a Massage Envy 15 minutes from my home now, I drive double the distance just for Nicole. She is the BEST! If she leaves, I will follow her! I call her "hands of God" - she melts every trouble away and talks with you before hand to determine your trouble spots. Nicole is everything you would want in a massage therapist. UPDATE: Nicole has moved to the Collegeville location, where I have followedOne day I came in last minute and had an appointment with someone I never tried before thinking it wouldn't make a big difference- a massage is a massage right?  Unfortunately he was very poor and seemed very inexperienced and amateur. I walked away extremely disappointed that day but to my own fault, did not address this with the manager. It would be great if every therapist was equally skilled but that is just not the case.My advice is that you research your therapist first. It might take a few times to find the right one. I'd suggest even calling to see which therapist has the most requests. The whole membership arrangement is not ideal and generally I stay away from these types of business models. Just make sure you read the contract. I did have one mix up with my membership. I had to pay for a massage on top of my membership fee because I went before my monthly bill had been paid even though I had called and changed the date over the phone. No one forewarned me about this charge until it came time to pay.  I had speak with the manager who was very stern but fair and addressed my concern. I received a personal letter further explaining what had happened, was compensated for the mix-up, and feel fully satisfied with how the issue was addressed. More...
