What a lovely experience. I was having pain in my lower back after a lot of travel and she made a special last-minute trip to the office for me. I got the Groupon rate for the massage and "mini facial" (you don't need to book the Groupon - she'll honor the rate directly) and it was heavenly. The "mini" facial was a complete facial minus extractions. The massage hit all of the right spots in my lower back and then traced out to the direct insertion points with a perfect amount of pressure. Sharon's hands are STRONG. She asked if the pressure was too much but it was just what I wanted. Sharon gave me a wonderful massage!  She is very nice and easy to talk to, and I liked her technique.  Her movements are very specific, and I think she focuses on pressure points and the use of acupressure.  I liked the homey feel of the massage room, and I would rather support local businesses like Sharon's than go to a corporate massage chain.  I highly recommend her for no-frills, skilled massages and pressure release.  If you are looking for complete silence, candles, and more of a total spa experience, this is probably not what you are looking for, but I still suggest giving her a try regardless! Sharon has a peaceful space and such a warm energy about her. I got a 60 minute massage that was both therapeutic and relaxing. She knew where to apply deep pressure, which was balanced by long Swedish style strokes. The final 10+ minutes were on my face, head and neck, which was just amazing. Sharon was wonderful! Let me profile myself as being physically active with 6 days of Crossfit per week, a desk job and some 12 hour days in dress shoes. She did a great job releasing my back muscles, and opened up my shoulder blades really well. All the soreness from the week is gone! My feet feel like new, which is impressive since she didn't spend that much time working on them. For a 60-minute massage, she covered a lot of ground. To wrap it all up, she spent a lot of time working pressure points around my face, head and neck. If you carry a lot of stress, its worth it simply for the amazing facial massage at the end! I highly recommend this service to others. Excellent service and excellant massage. Sharon really took care of us. I had purchased a 60minute massage for my mother and I on Groupon and made morning appointments for a Saturday (Saturday and Sunday are by appointment only). Due to a health concern that required me to go to urgent care on Saturday morning, I called Sharon on Friday and she was able to work out a late morning and noon appointment for my mother and I on Saturday. I thanked her and she even said 'don't worry if you run behind a few minutes because of your appointment- I'll wait for you'. Wow! I was already impressed becase I have at times received less than quality service if the vendor knows that I am using a Groupon or similar discount. I do want to make a note that her office was slightly difficult to find - it is within the chiropracter's office (she does mention that on her website but I hadn't seen it). We asked around and found it easily enough. The massage was calm and relaxing. I felt like I was not only treating myself, but investing in my health. A couple areas were slightly painful, but I didn't say anything (even though she had asked me to let her know if anything was uncomfortable- I figured it was good for me). She picked up on the areas that I was experiencing discomfort and asked me if it was tender. Yes, Sharon- you can be a little more gentle there. :) Oh, and the privacy thing- I was SO IMPRESSED that Sharon gave me a full body massage and I didn't feel like my privacy was comprimised. That was a big deal for me. I made sure I gave her a good tip and if finances allow, I will make a point to see her next time I am in Santa Barbara. PS: I was in HEAVEN when she massaged my head and face. I would go back for that alone. I highly recommend that if you get frequent migraines. Or if you just want to feel awesome. More...

Loved my massage! Sharon is such a sweet lady. I came in with upper back pain and I could fell the knots going away as she massaged the area. Today I treated myself to a massage Groupon offered. I had no idea what I was getting into and I did not do due dilligenge on the business (which I normally do). Oh My God, Sharon blew me away.
