​EMDR-TRAUMA RECOVERY
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) is an evidence base intervention used only by qualified and trained clinicians to help individuals decrease distressing emotions caused by a traumatic or overwhelming experience. It is an eight-phase treatment that identifies and addresses experiences that have overwhelmed the brain’s natural coping capacity, and have thereby generated traumatic symptoms and/or harmful coping strategies.
