First place we have found Brazilian sweets and pastries in a cafe-type environment in Arlington! Try the pao de queijo (cheese bread) and coxinha de galinha (stuffed chicken pastry) with guarana (Brazilian soda) or, go for a giant piece of super-moist layered bolo de brigadeiro (chocolate cake) or red velvet with a cafezinho (coffee). I will start by reviewing the cake since that is their focus. Ordered a slice to try before ordering a full cake for my mothers b-day. Cake was so delicious, some of the best I have ever had. We ordered some Brazilian coffee and coxinhas because what Brazilian can pass that up. They too were delicious. Owner is extremely talented, attentive and very sweet. I love to go to Marvelous Cakes and Pastries. I am always confident to order whatever they have it as I am sure I'll love it! The Cakes are to die for, the Brazilian "pão de queijo" is amazing and the "coxinha" is my favorite. Coffee is very tasty and be sure to try the Brazilian soda, "guaraná".
This is a family owned business and everyone is super friendly. The location is great, with plenty of parking spots. A must try! More...

So delicious! And to say service was excellent would be an understatement. This was true hospitality and warmth. We picked up a couple slices of cake to take home. Looked so beautiful in the case and tasted even better than imagined. We'll be getting both the Brigadeiro (chocolate) and strawberry brigadeiro cakes again. If you are looking for great tasting authentic Brazilian food, this is is the place to go! The food was fantastic but also the atmosphere and the family running this pace could not be kinder. They welcomed us in and showed us around and treated us like family! We had the coxinha, the pao de queijo, the fruit bowl, and brigaderios. Tried Marvelous Cakes & Pastries (2410 West Abram St, Ste 126, Arlington, TX 76013). Sweet family run small business. They make fancy custom cakes for any occasions. The cakes, cupcakes, cookies and desserts are beautiful and delicious. The cheese bread is fabulous. There are other Brazilian items they make as well. I've loved everything I've tried, but can't even begin to pronounce. They also make specialty Brazilian coffees and teas, as well as super healthy Acai Bowls. I would really like to see this place succeed. Stop by and say hello, give them a try and let them know what you like or don't like. They want you to come in, come back and tell your friends. Amazing cakes! I got the brigadero cake and I couldn't be happier. I was blown away by the chocolate the Carmel and just the exquisite décor on the cake. The amount of detail she put into the cake making the cake was just amazing. It was the life of the party everybody "ooohed and awwwed" over it and then "oooh and awww" and quite a few said "oh my gosh this is the best ever!" while they were eating it.
