My name is Martyn Thompson, a wedding photographer based in Buckingham, who has recently returned to the UK after spending nine years in South Korea.
Whilst in Korea, I exhibited my photography extensively across the country, as well as a handful of international exhibitions. My time in there has given me a unique blend of western and eastern influences that are incorporated in to my photography.
Korean brides and grooms almost always have a pre-wedding photoshoot, which I add as a free item in to the packages I offer. This is usually done a few weeks before the wedding at a place of the bride and groom's choice, and can be displayed on monitors or printed out for the actual wedding.
Each packages I offer is customisable to suit your exact needs. This means that the price is dependent on a number of factors - the hours I am required, whether or not you choose to have a second photographer (I can organise this if needed), the expected number of edited images, prints, album size, number of pages along with a whole bunch of other options, which we can discuss together.
The education I have received has a strong background in the arts, having studied art and design at Oxford College of Further Education followed by a degree in fine art with a specialisation in lens based media.
This gives many of my photographs a more creative feel than other photographers are able to offer, which can be appealing to many prospective brides and grooms.
I find that working closely with the couple before and after the wedding helps to ensure that all important people are photographed, and the photos included in the album are ones that the couple are happy with.
You can rest assure that you will receive fantastic quality photos, with an album and prints that you will be proud of.
Martyn is an artist and photographer with a keen eye and unique perspective. I own several pieces of his artwork and would highly recommend him as a professional photographer.
