I did alot of research on finding the right company to install our new double glazed windows for our 3 bed detached house. I found Martindale Windows very competitively priced, especially being a local company. Having visited their showroom, I found that their products were of the highest quality. Also fitted by highly skilled staff who were very organised and professional on the day of installation. Russell and his family run team couldn't do enough to help and work around our schedule to install our windows. Their customer service is of the highest standards. We had a new kitchen window and a front and back door fitted by Martindale. Russell led us through the design process and showed us around the showroom to satisfy us that the product would meet our requirements. Delivery was prompt and the work was carried out by two of Russell's installation teams. All the guys were courteous and diligent in their work and left the job all clean and tidy. Martindale recentlty supplied and fitted nine flush-fit windows, a composite front door and a set of bifold doors for our self build. Highly recommend Martindales. We had an old tilt-and-slide patio door replaced with new French doors with side panels. Russ came along to measure up very soon after the initial phone call, and turned up on time. He talked me through my options and listened carefully to my requirements, making suggestions along the wayHe quoted me a price on the spot, with no pressure at all. I went along to the showroom to look at the product and was welcomed by him and Geoff who showed me around and answered my questions.They weren't the cheapest (but not far off), but they instilled me with so much confidence and the product is of a good quality we decided to go with them. Doors were made and fitted only two weeks after I paid the deposit! Again, the fitters Derek and Gavin turned up on time, were polite, tidy and helpful They went out of their way to be attentive and ensured we were happy with the job. Had a front door with sidelights fitted as well as a side door to my home. From start to finish the service was second to none. Called up and they suggested popping into the showroom to look at the build quality and designs of the doors. Great knowledge and advice provided throughout, sat down and designed the doors in their office, took samples home to show my girlfriend. Price was very competitive for a product that was better than what was offered by other businesses. 2 weeks later and the doors have been installed. I was at the house when they were installing the doors and the two guys had no issues looking at (and resolving) an issue with the existing back door that needed a slight adjustment and answering a couple of questions and suggesting some resolutions to other areas in the property. Really appreciated!Popped into the showroom/office a couple of times through out the process and at all times all staff were extremely welcoming and helpful throughout the whole process. Would have no hesitation in recommending these guys to anyone who asks - I've had a couple of people ask where the doors are from since installation as we are documenting our renovation and I think you may have a couple of people heading your way!Got a couple of things to sort out throughout the year in regards to some windows and pitched roofing, I have no doubt that i'll be heading your way!Thanks again! After a lengthy selection process, my husband and I decided to choose Martindale Window's to manage and complete our new warm roof conservatory. It was the best decision we made. Russell managed it all. Numerous site visits to go through all the specifications/designs right through to managing the sub contractors to installation of the windows, doors and Guardian roof by Martindale's themselves. All the subcontractors Martindale selected were spot on. Professional, pleasant and turned up when they said they would and we felt we could trust them all 110% and they all carried out an excellent job in relation to their trade. One of the main things that stood out to us about Martindale's throughout this process, was how small hiccups were rectified. Nothing was too much trouble, you always felt comfortable raising things or asking questions. Everything was addressed with pace and care. We've now been left with an amazing additional space to our home which will make a huge difference to our growing family. Everyone comments on the usable/practical space, and I now feel it really does make our house feel like a home. I bought a large ugly house with integral double garage in an awful state, but with potential. (before and after pictures included)It needed a complete overall so I wanted to pick a builder who could handle everything for continuity of works and consistency of quality. I chose Martindale and met Russ and agreed a huge scope of works involving 5 steels, 4 walls coming down, >8m of aluminium bi folds, new aluminium windows throughout, front door, new waste drainage, electrics, plumbing, fascia’s, and kitchen.So pretty extensive works. Obviously a major overall like this requires careful planning, choices and workmanship so Russell and I went through this in detail and I was impressed with his grasp of my vision.His team of skilled craftsmen did the destructive parts carefully, inserting steels and rebuilding supporting pillars.His window fitters’ installed bi folds and windows carefully and with precision.The plumbing was tricky and his huge guy replumbed and rerouted pipework to accommodate a new kitchen in the old garage and bigger contemporary radiators, lifting them into place himself!The electrics required a second fuse box and rewiring with a huge number of spot lights and mood lighting throughout.The inside then had first and second fix and the kitchen install.The quality is fantastic with the transformation speaking for itself. A huge project with a great finish and a pleasure to work with Russell and his team.I also had the house rendered to really set it off, but Martindale didn’t do that.Like all large projects, we overran but Russell and his team did a fantastic job and the quality in the end is amazing.
