Are you feeling hopeless, sad, angry, lonely, frustrated and/or depressed? Maybe it's a matter of you trying to escape these emotions using alcohol, drugs or food. At the end of the latest bender these emotions remain. You're frustrated you can't solve this on your own.
And you feel if others acted different then you wouldn't drink or use so much.
You may be in a relationship with someone suffering from an addiction. You try hard to fix them and the harder you try the more frustrated and hurt you become. And if they don't change it's your fault somehow. It may be a matter of getting an accurate diagnosis in order to have the proper care. You don't have to live like this.
What I offer you is a trusting, compassionate and supportive environment to explore what's keeping you stuck in painful patterns whether it's addiction or a failing relationship. By working through these painful issues you can find freedom for what's keeping you miserable. You will receive an objective listener and encouragement to walk through the discomfort. I've worked with a wide range of various issues from drug and alcohol abuse, mood disorders (depression, anxiety and bi-polar disorder), relatives with loved ones in addiction, childhood sexual abuse issues, relationships, and co-dependency.
