Wow Martin! Martin spent our wedding day with us and gosh - the photos are amazing. We wanted natural photos showing our affection and love for each other, and our guests enjoying themselves and Martin delivered much much more than that. Our photos are beautiful, natural, loving, fun, relaxed and calm. They are snapshots showing exactly how our day was. Martin certainly knew all the good spots for beautiful photos. We contacted Martin to cover a golf event which we were hosting for clients. Martin was not known to us, we chose him based on his website and subsequent telephone conversations. <br />Martin was extremely professional in his approach. At each wedding venue we looked at, we were handed examples of various photographers, and Martin's photos were easily the best. His website clearly describes the (flexible) packages he offers, at prices that are very reasonable. He is very prompt to reply to e-mail and telephone calls, and he explained everything very clearly. <br /><br />On the day, he was at the venue long before we were (we didn't<span id="moreReview436280" class="hide"> want any preparation shots, so he just went straight to the venue), and he photographed every moment. He organised us for some great photos without intruding on our day, which is an impressive skill at such a busy event as a wedding. He managed to capture some excellent candid shots as well as the more organised ones, and he captured the beauty of the venue perfectly. <br /><br />Martin provided us with high resolution (around 12 megapixels) versions of all the photos he took, so you can send them to friends and relatives electronically or get them printed yourself (Martin will do extra prints for you, but he doesn't push that option). This is in stark contrast to some other photographers we have used, that are reluctant to provide digital copies, and then only provide poor resolution versions, so that they can sell you ludicrously overpriced prints. We could not have hoped for better photos of our wedding, and Martin was completely professional and very efficient. He provided us with all the flexibility we required at every stage. Martin recently photographed our wedding and his service from intial contact to completed images was amazing!! He was great fun to work with, very accomodating, professional, efficient, and made the whole process so easy and enjoyable. Despite the rain we had on our day, Martin made every effort to ensure we still got some amazing pictures and really catpured the feel our day. We recently held a surprise family get together at a hotel in Emsworth and wanted a photographer to capture the moment. I contacted Martin having located him via his website. Martin took photos at our December wedding at Explosion museum Gosport. Martin was very proffessional and friendly. We met before the wedding to discuss our plans and the poor lighting situatation at the venue. We only hired Martin out for 2hour slot and in that time he managed to capture part of our lovely day. Martin was totally professional and prepared for our wedding day, more than we were! <br />He knows Portsmouth very well and was able to get some fantastic atmospheric shots as he knows what works, even on the beach! Martin took our wedding photos. He always responded to emails promptly prior to wedding. On the day he was patient, having to shoot in two locations and directed the group shots well and calmly. We were thrilled with the shots they were brilliant. Martin is a really nice man too and we both felt very comfortable with him taking our pictures. Martin was our wedding photographer in September 2011. We had the added complication that we lived 80 miles from where we got married but Martin was great at communicating with us via email really promptly. It was a weight off our mind knowing that he would get back in touch if there was a problem. We were both really impressed with how professional he was on the day. The right mix of<span id="moreReview285866" class="hide"> coordinating the official photos efficiently and blending in the background for the informal shots. We've had a number of our guests also compliment us on how good Martin was and not 'in your face' at all. The finished product was stunning! It took us so long to choose our final shots for the album but it was it was so helpful having them all on a CD to choose in our own time. Again useful when we lived so far away. We used Martin Lewis to cover our daughter's<br />wedding in Winchester in June 2010.He asked to meet with the couple prior to the day, to cover every eventuality and look at the venue for suitable photo opportunities and to ensure any special requests were incorporated. <br />We commissioned Martin for our wedding at Upwaltham Barn after finding him on the internet. Martin was extremely helpful throughout, gave good honest advice and ideas and was happy to fit in with our requests too. Not only did we get great shots on the day but he was a professional throughout. After the wedding we ordered a couple of albums which I thought were extremely good value. We were very pleased with the wonderful service that Martin gave us, before, during and after our wedding. He was very quick to reply to any questions we had and was very helpful. He got many lovely shots, which was all the more impressive as we had only booked him for two hours!
