What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Getting to know someone and the way they both want the job done and the way they want to warm is hugely important. It's really about personal skills and being able to listen and understand their requirements.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
My first question is always why. It's important to listen and know what it is that the client wants from being photographed. Even on corporate shoots it may be that an idea can be used to gain a completely different outcome that they wouldn't have thought about. It's important to think outside the box at times but also be aware that there is a place for formality as well. That's my job to see it and express my ideas clearly but also to listen.
What do you love most about your job?
Meeting new people and being able to help them see things that are possible in photography and video. There's always something different to discover even in similar environments. You never stop learning and pushing yourself to be better each shoot.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Photography and video were a passion for me from an early age . My grandfather owned a photography lab where negatives were developed and printed and from then the passion for detailing a moment in time was born
Why should our clients choose you?
In order to judge someone I believe you really have to meet them and find a common bond. Most of my clients have become friends.
I am polite , well mannered and always willing to listen. Punctuality is a key for me as is honesty.
I am professionally qualified with recognised photographing institutes and fully insured as well as offering qualified commercial service for unmanned aircraft (PfCO)
