Martha was amazing for our wedding day! She was extremely accomodating when our original photographer could no longer do our wedding. She offered some great personalized packages, was on time, and was very easy to work with. When our car keys were accidentally left somewhere else, she offered to drive us to our photo site and to the reception and even drove us to get chick-fil-a so we could grab some food between the wedding and reception. Martha has become a fixture in our lives since we got married in 2007, when she was our amazing wedding photographer. Well, it is ten years later and she photographs our family, with two young daughters, and has gracefully aged with us as a warm friend. What I love about working with Martha to capture those moments with my kiddos, is that she does it in a truly authentic and honest way. We greet as friends, because we are, go through our session casually and relaxed, which helps us get the BEST photographs, because everyone is just... chill. And because we work with Martha for our photos, my girls know her and the warm up to her is super fast. When we were married, we got nothing but compliments for our wedding photos. I still have them proudly hanging in our home. We still look at our album. And when my sister in law was getting married, we reminded her of Martha, and she again came and took beautiful photos of the wedding and reception. It basically comes down to this: Martha is authentic, fun, real, and super friendly. She's also literally been photographing people for most of her life, since she was a little girl, so she's got it on lock! She captures the best in people, because she's one of the best. I don't pay for school photos anymore, we just go to Martha, because we know what we'll get, every time, and honestly, I'm always just so happy with the end result. Martha Manning was a joy to work with! She and the other photographer that she was working with on the day of our wedding were the most professional photographers ever. Martha helped me stay calm and to enjoy my big day! I worked with Martha for over a year before our wedding day and so she was able to really get to know us! When we had our engagement photos done with Martha she helped us custom make a package for our budget! Not a lot of photographers will give this option! I also can't believe that she worked on our engagement pictures over her VACATION just so we could have them! That is going way above and beyond!
I loved how we had Martha with the girls the morning of the wedding while I got ready and the second photographer spent time with the men. It was perfect. She did such a wonderful job and just fit in so well with our families. Martha is the sweetest person ever! If you need a stress-free photographer with an AWESOME outlook on life, you really should have her at your wedding. When a photographer goes above and beyond to make sure that you are 100% happy then you know that you have a perfect fit! Martha was a fantastic photographer for our wedding in March at the Duke Chapel and the Washington Duke Inn. She was truly a pleasure to work with--she has such a nice demeanor and I felt very comfortable with her from the moment I met her. We actually had her photograph our rehearsal dinner because were unable to do engagement photos, and these photos are a great supplement to our wedding-day photos--everyone is so relaxed and having fun. Then the wedding day photos are gorgeous. We have received so many compliments from friends and family on the photographs, and we are excited to order some larger prints when we move into our new home next month. Since the moment that I met Martha I knew that I wanted her to be our photographer. She's so easy going and fun to work with, and very sweet! She did a great job with our engagement photos; during our engagement session, she was very flexible and creative. Her pictures are one of a kind. Martha is so nice and easy to talk to. She was good about answering any emails or phone calls I made. We had a June wedding, so she was very busy but was able to get our pictures up on the website quickly. I had hoped that her assistant would help make sure that our large family shots turned out well, one thing my mom really wanted since the family doesn't get together much due to distance. We still have some pics where faces cannot be seen though, which was too bad. Martha was recommended to us through a friend and did a good job. I wish we could have afforded to have her stay longer at the reception, but as a bride on a budget that was not possible.
