Their plumber came in yesterday to change my old combi boiler.
He didnt finish the job the day he came which left us with no hot water in the night even though we paid £960 contribution in full.
During the work, he often opened my bedroom door and sat on my clean bedsheets with his dirty clothes. I did not want to say anything considering his age and hard work as well as his attitude.
Unsurprisingly he asked my husband whose English-language isn't good enough to sign the document the next morning when he was about to pick up a boiler pumper. He used a lot of curse words to do so and threatened to he will take off the boiler if we don't sign.
He didnt come back until a women titled herself a company director phoned back claimed I refused to sign the document which is purely for my own benefit - warranty. She would come over to help me to understand what it is for.
We explained we just want to sign at end of the job.
When she came in I intended to seek help from her as her employee bullied us with no reason. Even a word sorry will satisfy us. But she came here for signature only but nothing els otherwise she wouldn't get paid by the boiler scheme.
Do you believe there are no safety related issue with the installation ? When I wasnt sure about this question on the document I need to sign she became very angry. She made a phone call and threatened us if we dont say yes she will shut the gas supply and report to gas board to make us illegal if we dare to have shower.
At this time, there are about six hers people walked up and down in my house. I had to sign it in tears.
Afterward they went happily with the document they need then said: put your complain in writing.
I would like to let people know what happened to us because it could happen to anyone who is vonlnerable.
I truly wish she could be humane to other humanity. Even the sympathy.
