I really enjoyed my stay at The Alexander. I was there for one night to attend a concert at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse. The location was fantastic as I was able to easily and safely walk to and from the concert without having to hire a car. The staff was incredibly attentive. I had broken on of my toes shortly before my visit and a gentleman at the valet station unloaded my bags from my car onto a cart, followed me to check in and helped unload my bags in my room. The room itself was warm and welcoming which having just enough space. I absolutely loved the bathroom, specifically the shower! Also an A+ for having a full length mirror available in the room. I had room service for dinner and breakfast the next morning. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality for the price. I often find room service subpar but incredibly expensive at other hotels bit that was not the case here. If I return to Indianapolis, I will mostly likely stay here again! More...

The Alexander is a beautiful, artistic, well managed hotel conveniently located downtown near great restaurants and sights. Excellent food, bar, and rooms with a staff that all seem to love their jobs! Make sure to have the complementary flavored popcorn at the bar...the bomb! Can’t wait to go back! More...

My husband and I stayed at The Alexander last night to celebrate my graduation with my Masters in Nursing FNP from the University of Cincinnati. I was asked at check in what we were doing in town and mentioned in passing it was for my graduation. Later before heading to dinner- my husband and I stopped at the lobby lounge to get a drink where the bartender had mentioned that he’d heard of recently graduated and even knew what school. After our night out, my husband and I arrived back to our room to be greeted with 2 beverages, a plate of goodies, and the sweetest note. Thank you so much to the staff for making my graduation celebration so memorable. More...

this is by far the best hotel in the downtown Indy area. The art instantly pulls you in and just keeps you looking all around. The people are fabulous very cheerful and seem genuinely happy to help you. Platt 99 has great mixologists and superb drinks. The room was spacious with elegance and comfort, an all around great stay my wife has informed me this is now our go to hotel for any future trips. A 5 star experience. More...

We come here each year for a family brunch. There are always at least 10-15 of us and they always accommodate us on a Sunday for brunch. It's never super busy or crowded which is awesome! We do the buffet and the food is not dissapointing. They have traditional breakfast food as well as prime rib freshly cut, fish, salmon, fruit, omlette station, etc. There is something for everyone. They even have a great selection of gellato flavors. My only complaint is the price can be a bit high. For 2 adults, a 10 year old and a 3 year old we paid about $75. The kids usually just get cereal fruit and gellato. Other brunch buffets I've been to are around $20 a person (includes coffee) and kids under 12 are free. This is obviously a bit more. Either way we love this place and will be back! More...

This place was worth every penny! The service was impeccable. Tom Brown the Night Audit Manager was AMAZING! Check in was smooth. Location was ideal. Room Service was unbeleivable and the food was delicious. The restaurant on site served the best Wine. We truly enjoyed the experience and the adventure of the artwork being displayed as well. We will only book this hotel the next time we visit INDY! More...

Best hotel I've ever stayed at! The art was stunning, the bed was super comfy, the rainfall shower was great, and the staff was friendly. The floor to ceiling windows allowed a lot of natural light and everything was state of the art! Absolutely staying there again when visiting Indianapolis and would recommend it to anyone wanting a nice stay at a modern upscale venue. Well worth the money. Trust me :) More...

The hotel is high end. Was really impressed. Loved the experience. We did the Follow the Lights package and enjoyed some drinks and relaxed out on the patio. I would say it was a 5 star but did not know there would be a fee of $14 for dry cleaning added to my bill for what I'm guessing was use of the robes they have in the rooms. So I was shocked to get another updated bill to my email with a dry cleaning fee that was never told to us upon check in. More...

I attended Coronation here this past weekend. The rooms were amazing (I never wanted to leave the shower), the staff was friendly (I hadn't thought before dinner to let someone know I am a vegetarian and the chef made me a special dish on the fly that was delicious and I felt so bad that I wasn't able to finish), the specialty cocktail Friday night was as delicious as it was pretty, and the spaces in which we had our events were gorgeous and every single detail was on point.

Room service was awesome! It came about ten mins early. Their signature burger was pretty good. I liked the vandalized burger with the sweet potatoes fries with plbano crab Mac and cheese and it's all pretty good portions too. No pool or hot tub tho but the shower was pretty awesome. Seems like the place is very popular! Something always going on! The only bad part about my experience was that we were too close to the restaurant patio and it was very hard to sleep with all the chatter right below. More...

Everything about this hotel was amazing from the staff to the rooms. We were staying there for a wedding and everyone was extremely accommodating and polite. They were very underatanding when we took over the lobby late at night to reunite with family members. The rooms were fabulous. We stayed in a regular room the first night then moved to extended stay. The only downside would be the beds were a little hard and the pillows a bit mushy, but everyone has different preferences so I honestly don't count that has a problem. Overall I was extremely pleased with everything about this hotel and plan on visiting it more in the future More...
