What makes a great website?
Very simply put, a great website is one that quickly and easily allows a user to understand what message you're trying to say while taking the actions you want them to—whether that is making a purchase, requesting information, or deepening their relationship with your business.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
The most important question that I ask a client when starting a new project is, "what is your goal?" Without knowing where we want to end up, we are unstrategically providing a service without tying it back to business goals. This is a lose-lose position.
What do you love most about your job?
Winning. :-) Ok, that's not all, but it is a great part of it! What I really love most is learning and understanding my clients' businesses and figuring out the best solution for them to reach their goals. No business, target audience, or product are the same--so it keeps me on my toes.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Digital marketing and digital strategy take up a lot of time and I believe this time constraint is what keeps a lot of businesses from doing it correctly to maximize their efforts. Of course, there are agencies out there that can help, but most of them are priced outside of what a lot of small businesses can or are willing to spend. This is where Market Square Digital comes in. I, personally, have always loved teaching and helping the "underdogs" take on the leaders in their segment. This is why Market Square Digital is very affordable for the level of service received. It is my goal to help businesses not only complete the marketing tasks but to also learn how to do them. Because of my work with them, if my customers become savvy enough to run the operation on their own, I've done my job.
