We had a brilliant coaching experience with Mark. He provided us with practical, “tried and tested” advice; which he made highly relevant to us, and delivered it in a fun, engaging way. His use of entertaining and colourful stories to illustrate the serious points he made – made the sessions something we all looked forward to. It was a pleasure to learn from Mark, and we have no hesitation in recommending him. More...

Q&As

Having worked in large corporations or fairly large business units in terms of costs and people numbers for over 20 years I've learned much about how businesses run. Most of my current clients and those I've helped over the last 3 years have been much smaller, so the thing I love most is making a real difference for those business owners and teams that are really feeling the pressure. When you're small every decision feels fraught with danger and it's great when I can bring solution to the table that reduces stress, improves efficiency and increases team happiness and capability.

It's motivational for me to see people succeed!

My inspiration is connected to and driven from friends and colleagues. Outside of the corporations I worked in I had an extended network of friends that had their own businesses, made their own decisions and grasped at the future! I thought that I'd like a go at that too. Consultancy seemed the obvious choice because I'm people and team oriented (that comes from my 12 years in the RAF) and I like helping people. Interestingly some of the friends with their own businesses that inspired me are also my clients. I can help them with the knowledge I have to work around or through some of those classic problems.

As my logo says I'm 'in your corner'. I think many consultants are in a client business to only tell the owners or team members what to do. There's nothing wrong with that, at times its hugely valuable. I believe my approach is slightly but importantly different. We will go on a journey of learning through the issues and challenges within a business, much of that learning will be yours as it's really important to grow the business incrementally and in a strong way.

Yes we'll fix the problems, streamline the processes and make everything more successful, but you will be at the forefront of that change, whether business owner, manager or team member.
