I have been a full time professional magician since 1981 and have huge experience of entertaining with my strolling comedy sleight of hand magic at events both large and small.
For events where the guests are standing or sitting informally, I can mix and mingle and approach people as they stand or sit in small groups to present my magic up very close.

How long have you been interested in magic?
I first became interested in magic at the age of 6 and I did my first public performance aged 10. My first paid show was when I was 11 when I was booked to entertain at a child's birthday party - I was only 5 years older than the kids themselves!
Take us through your show – what can we expect?
As a strolling magician I can bring my comedy sleight of hand magic and perform it very close to the audience. I perform magic with small items such as cards, coins, finger rings, pieces of rope, and I involve the people watching actively in the magic making it a really immersive, fun and memorable experience for the spectators.
What do you love most about your job?
As part of my job I get to attend so many happy occasions - weddings, adult birthdays, anniversaries, family parties, Christmas celebrations etc, and it is so much fun to perform at these that it doesn't usually feel like a job at all! I also really like that my magic is presented so close to the audience as it means I get to talk and interact directly with them, which makes the entertainment so much more personal.
What inspired you to start your own business?
To be honest it came about initially almost by accident. I was doing paid magic shows on a semi pro basis alongside a regular job, but gradually I became so busy with the magic that the only sensible solution was to turn full time pro so that I could give all my attention to it. That was 35 years ago and I have enjoyed every minute of it since then.

I genuinely love what I do and I like nothing better than to bring magic into other people's lives at moments that are important to them. My experience means that bookers will be engaging someone who knows exactly how to ensure that everything goes really well and who will enhance any type of special event. My magic is fun, will amaze the guests, and I always do everything I can to make what I do as memorable for those attending as possible.
