What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
The most important element of a good photograph is the ability of the photo to communicate to it's viewer and tell a story through the emotion or subject of the photo. My style ranges from photo journalistic to edgy modern photography.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I generally start by asking if they've had an opportunity to view my website and portfolio. The reason I ask is because some client don't have an exact vision of their photoshoot and by viewing my portfolio, they not only get an idea of what I can do but gain some inspiration for their wedding or shoot.
I also ask about the date and time they are available to begin; who's going to be in attendance and their must have photos.
What do you love most about your job?
I love meeting new and interesting people and to hear their story. This is why I LOVE photographing weddings.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was an avid photographer since the age of 12 and over the years I continued to grow and develop in my craft. In 2007, I was approached by a friend regarding photographing their wedding and I never looked back!
