I was looking for private coaching for winter break and could not have found a better choice. Crystal is a very empathetic and encouraging teacher. She helps you refine your craft and genuinely brings out the best performances from you. As an actively working actor she understands why freezing up in front of the camera happens and how to work through it. Whether you are a long time working actor or just testing the waters to see if this is for you, acting classes with Crystal have been extremely beneficial! Classes are small with a home like feel and she never makes you feel uncomfortable. She is also currently still a working actor having booked roles on recent shows which allows for her information and instruction to be up to date on strategies that work. These classes are a must-go. Crystal let's you express yourself freely without feeling pressured to perform a certain way. She really stresses a non-acting style of acting that is very natural and spontaneous. She is very encouraging and makes you feel very comfortable and as if you are part of her own family. She doesn't let you get away with less than your best though which in my opinion sets her above others. I highly recommend these classes!!! :) More...

I've been taking classes here for about a year. I still remember my first day: I was nervous, scared to perform in front of strangers and this new acting coach. I wasn't sure if I was going to like it. I kept messing the lines up on my monologue, but Crystal eased me into it and helped calm my nerves.

I decided to keep coming back and prove to everyone that I was better than my first class and have discovered much more since that day. Crystal has worked with me on improving my craft, from every aspect. I've learned how to be more natural in my delivery, how to find emotional inspiration to draw on, how to find my moment before and most importantly, how to break down a scene to find the tone, the moments of triumph, despair, underlying thoughts and to connect to the character I'm portraying.

OGAC is perfect for all types of actors, beginning in the film industry to experienced and needing practice. I've gained amazing skills that can only be attributed to the investment Crystal makes in her students. I look forward to classes every week. I look forward to growing every week. I've been taking classes here for about a few months now and it's been a rewarding experience. Crystal is an incredible coach, mentor, and friend.
I've always wanted to be involved in the craft of acting, but didn't know who to go to and how to dive into it with so much doubt in myself. The struggles were real, but it wasn't until I joined OGAC and attended class taught by Crystal where all the doubt I had became a spark of confidence. Not only did I learn so much about the craft of acting here, but also improved my character and intuition. She will NEVER give up on you when you feel like quitting. I've progressed alot here and so can you if you take classes here and truly PUT IN THE WORK. One of the major elements she teaches you is "being in the moment" when you're doing a scene and pushes you to really feel the emotions within the scene. This allows you to genuinely connect with the character you're trying to be.
