Mark and his assistant were brilliant on our wedding day! Mark had been recommended to us by two of our friends, two couples who had had Mark for their weddings! We not only are so so happy with the photos, so bright and natural and relaxed which is what we asked for, but also the manner in which he and his assistant were at the wedding. They were very discreet yet got the photos done that we wanted, and in the short time frame we had. We are so happy with the photos and the quick amount of time it took for Mark to send them to us on a lovely USB in a special box. Mark is a very reliable and personable individual who from the outset helped us enormously with planning the wedding photos and provided excellent tips that resulted in an equally excellent outcome. With lots of other things to think about when planning the wedding, Mark helped make it easier for us when it came to deciding about the photos. On the day, Mark and his assistant Paul, were unobtrusive throughout, working at different locations to start with at Home with the Bride and Bridesmaids etc. and at a local hotel with the Groom and Best Man etc. Photos were taken inside and out throughout the day and evening at the Wedding venue and often in subdued lighting conditions, but the outcome was excellent with lots of superb high quality photos to choose from both in colour and black and white. We and all of our guest were very impressed and pleased with the photos that we were able to share and cherish our very special day. Mark and his 'team' had great ideas for some of our wedding pictures and the preparation beforehand was professional and imaginative. Not only did we have some pictures of the wedding itself, but all the pics from Shelley and her bridesmaids getting ready in the morning, my pre-wedding drinks in the pub to the meal and the party afterwards with band was great. What really made the photos so great , were they caught the essence of fun that we (and hopefully are friends and family ) had all day and captured all key little the moments that make a day so special perfectly .they got everything on celluloid , but somehow did it without being intrusive or fabricating things. Mark photographed our recent secret winter wedding. We have two young children and it was very important to us that their presence was embraced in the photos as well as the children of our only 2 grown-up guests. Mark did not disappoint and we are thrilled with the results! He was able to fully capture the relaxed feel of the day, the fun that children can make for themselves in any environment and, of course, the main event of the actual wedding. He was a relaxed and easy person to work with also who managed to get our camera-shy son actually playing up for he camera! Our wedding pictures were fantastic. We’ve had so many compliments from people that have seen them. Mark had some difficult variables to contend with, weather, fireworks – difficult family members! But nothing seemed to faze him and he just got on with it, the guests barely noticed he was there which made for some beautiful candid shots. Exactly how a wedding photographer should be! My wife Jade and I used Mark for our wedding day on the 19th August this year and are extremely happy with our choice. We opted for a package that included a second photographer, Brendan, so that the images of us both getting ready before the wedding could be captured professionally, as well as as many real-life poses of our guests during and after the ceremony as possible.
We were tipped off about Mark by friends who had used him for their wedding, and were immediately taken with his eye for the small detail and relaxed guest and family situations. The quality of our photos are superb, we couldn't be any happier. Mark and Brendan managed to capture the emotion and feeling of the day perfectly and we have received over 500 photos in hi/lo res and black+white/colour that we love.
On the day Mark and Brendan blended in seamlessly and made everyone feel at ease in their presence. Mark has been available and attentive to all questions and requests we've had both pre and post the wedding, and the photo package arrived promptly in just under 4 weeks.
