As I started out with my new business ventures I realised very quickly that I would need some professional headshots for my business collateral. I didn’t want them to look ‘corporate’ as a large part of what I do requires people to buy into ‘me’ as part of the product. I really needed more natural, professional shots in a more relaxed setting that still captured who I really am on a personal level. I am one of those people that hates being photographed, I dread everything about it, and the only reason I make sure annually to update my profile picture is because I know its essential for business.
Working with Marike was a very different experience, she has a unique ability to capture real moments, when you are unaware, which makes the whole experience feel more relaxed, authentic and less pressurised.
In her photography you can see the raw and real essence of the person. I would highly recommend her.
