Veronica and her staff did an absolutely awesome job with our party. She made certain I was able to enjoy visiting with our friends vs stressing over the food.

Very classy place I will hold any of my wedding receptions wedding even anniversaries would be nice to be held there something of a semiformal to formal area . If they laid back elegant rustic scenery with the vineyard beside the reception hall food that was being served was on a scale from 1 to 10 I would say with presentation a10 in on a scale from 1 to 10 the food that was served main course - hors d'oeuvres is also at 10 I recommend this place More...

We used Maria's vineyard for my daughters wedding and we were so blessed. My daughter was scheduled for hair and makeup and the person scheduled to do the services no showed. We were in a panic, but Veronica took charge and called in someone she knew and the person she called did an outstanding job! We also had people show that didn't RSVP (the place was packed) but once again Veronica pulled thru and her staff never batted an eye. Fantastic! We looked at four venues before choosing Maria’s Vineyard. I loved the barn with stained glass windows and the gardens. Even though a voice in the back of my head said, “Don’t put all your eggs in the same basket”; I hired Veronica as the director and caterer. I am so glad I did! She had the planning down to a fine-tuned schedule. She knew the number of meetings we would have as well as what we would accomplish at each meeting. The catering menu had a variety of cuisines. After the food tastings, she put together a wonderful meal plan and settings. My husband and I booked Veronica as our wedding planner/event coordinator and as our caterer for the rehearsal dinner and reception. I cannot give Veronica and her staff enough praise! She made the wedding planning experience less stressful and more enjoyable than I ever thought it could be! Okay, so it has been a while since my wedding. 4 months and some days to be exact! But, my life is just slowing down to where I actually have time to write a review. Everything about my wedding was perfect! The venue, the food, the decorations, and Veronica!!! I could not have done it without Veronica! Maria's Vineyard was a great location for my overall vision for my wedding ceremony and reception. My dream was to get married under a tree and Veronica helped to make my dream come true even though she admitted that no one else had ever gotten married on the patio under the tree behind the house- as everyone else gets married under the gazebo in front of the vineyard. Veronica did not hesitate to allow me to be the first to get married under the tree and ensured that it would turn out great. She set up the pews they had available on site and added additional chairs on the patio for added seating as my guest list grew larger than initially imagined. I wanted to have a smaller more intimate ceremony with family and few friends and then a larger reception a bit later the same day and Maria's Vineyard worked perfectly for this as there was plenty of space for my guests to hang out and socialize in the "cocktail" hour separating the ceremony and reception while the bridal party took pictures, etc. It rained on the wedding day but cleared up just in time for the bridal party to walk down the aisle.
A plus about Maria's Vineyard was the availability to have guests inside/outside or both. Between the house, the reception barn, and the lawn my guests were able to spread out and cool off in the a/c after the ceremony was over and the temperature outside was nice and steamy after the rain.
It was nice to be able to hire Veronica as our wedding planner and have Maria's Vineyard to cater our event as well in order to have the same team organizing most of our big day. Veronica helped to suggest local vendors and was helpful to ensure everything went in a timely and organized fashion on the big day.
Per typical wedding fashion, my groom nor myself never took the time to sit down and eat at the reception as we were busy talking and enjoying our friends and family there celebrating our big day with us. We did however have a plate to go and the food was tasty even warmed up after we got home close to midnight that night. I heard many compliments from the guests about how good the food tasted.
Our food was set up as buffet style and the only complaint heard from my guest was the the serving staff at the Vineyard were somewhat hard to communicate with as it appeared as though they did not speak English as their primary language.
On the downside of the overall set up, since the ceremony was on the patio and then the reception was a bit later and occurred at the barn (with 2 different guest lists for the ceremony and the reception), my welcome table was never moved and therefore not many guests who arrived for the reception actually signed my guest book since the welcome table was still near the house . If I were to do it over again I would have ensured that the welcome table was moved closer to the reception area so that I could have a record of who all was there to celebrate our big day with us.
Another downfall to the overall day was that while we were still dancing and enjoying the reception, Veronica's staff began cleaning up the reception hall around us and packing things away in boxes before even 10 pm. After returning from my honeymoon and going through boxes that were dropped off at my house of décor, etc from the reception and ceremony, I found mason jars that still had water in them from the reception and some votives I had bought for table décor which were never even opened.
Even with the above being said, If I had to do it again, I would choose Maria's Vineyard as my venue all over again. The charm of the barn mixed with the natural beauty of the vineyard itself was perfect. Veronica was easy to work with during the entire process and the pluses of the venue/ catering/ and wedding planning were much greater than the cons. Just wanted to give an honest review. The venue is beautiful and the wedding pictures I haveseen so far have turned out abosulely stunning with the natural beauty of the vineyards in the background. More...

Veronica and her staff really out did themselves. They made our day and all of our dreams come true. There was nothing I'd change about our wedding day. Family and friends loved the venue and most of all the delicious food! It was so nice to have the amazing meal and drinks of our choice. They helped provide decor and all necessary things for the night, most importantly gave us a night we'll always remember. It's amazing to see how beautiful our day was all thanks to Maria's Vineyard. I went to a wedding rehearsal at Maria's Vineyard on a cold rainy night. Upon entering the old wooden chapel type building I expected it to be nice and warm but it was not. While the building itself was perfect for a small rustic type wedding the experience was miserable because of the temperature. We were told that while the heater was on the floors have holes in the wood which keeps the heat from staying in and allows for more cold to fill the room.
