Mariah was the photographer for our wedding and we truly couldn’t say enough positive things about our experience with her. My husband and I do not like taking pictures and feel very self conscious with the camera. However, starting from our engagement shoot, Mariah made us feel SO comfortable and at ease and made the entire experience so fun and memorable. She goes the extra mile for her clients in more ways than one, and made us feel confident that she would capture every moment and take pictures that would blow us away (and they most certainly did.) To have a relationship with our photographer helped make our special day perfect. I am so happy that we chose Mariah to be our photographer and I cannot thank her enough for all of her hard work and skills. Choosing Mariah to be our photographer was such an easy decision to make once we saw her portfolio. She is everything you could want in a photographer; she is very professional, gives great direction, she’s such a sweetheart and so much fun. It is very evident that she loves what she does and has perfected her craft. She is the best and I trust her completely. I appreciated her being a perfectionist and making sure she got the best shot. My mind was blown by one shot of me by myself while I was getting ready; it was such a perfect shot that I could not even believe it was me! I looked so glamorous and beautiful (this is coming from someone who definitely stays away from the camera). The photos she took of my wedding day are absolutely breathtaking; vivid colors, perfect details, you could see and feel all of the emotions through those pictures. Mariah is a lovely person and I’m so lucky to have had her capture all of the beautiful moments in our wedding. Mariah is AMAZING to work with! She shot mine and my fiance's engagement shoot and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. She's so personable and sweet, like we were talking to a long time friend rather than a one time photographer. I was beyond pleased with my experience with Mariah. I happened to be in New York on business trip and thought it be a good idea to do my engagement photo shoot in Central Park. We chose the sunniest day that week and Mariah suggested 8am to avoid the crowd. Although there was no wind and the sun was out it was still 28 degrees. Mariah was so accommodating, patient and understanding. She definetly made the experience better. And the end result was truly professional. I admire her work, experience and passion for it. I found Mariah online and honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better photographer! She is absolutely amazing! She was very attentive to time, she got BEAUTIFUL photos of not only my husband and I but of our families as well. Everyone, from the wedding party to the guest complemented on how great she was. Everyone said we couldn’t have picked a better photographer! She is just absolutely amazing. I needed the photos in a little bit of a rush because I had a $50 voucher for photos that was going to expire, and Mariah was able to get me the photos in 6 weeks so I was able to use my voucher. Mariah is a dream to work with! She was extremely professional, organized and helpful throughout the whole process. Our engagement photos came out stunning and we couldn't be happier with the way Mariah was able to capture that special day. I have no idea how she did it, but our photos look like we were alone or there were very few people around even when we posed in a busy Central Park location! I would especially recommend her if you are new to the city or haven't done a lot of photo shoots previously because Mariah is super resourceful and will recommend you locations, outfits, props, poses, retouching styles - you name it! Oh, and ladies, if you want to be in good hands when it comes to the way you look in photos - look no further! When we decided to get married in New York, we weren't even going to hire a photographer but seeing the end results of Mariah's work has made us SO glad that we did!
Our pictures are better than we could have ever imagined! What's more, she became so much more than just a photographer to us.
I can't express enough how lovely, warm and friendly Mariah is. She made two camera-shy Brits feel at ease and relaxed. She's so easy to get along with and chat to like a friend you know well.
Her professionalism cannot go unmentioned. Both her and her assistant Paula worked tirelessly all day to achieve an outstanding set of photos for us. They both went above and beyond what we could have ever expected, paying particular attention to the flash and lighting and working angles so we looked our best.
I still find it unbelievable how she also worked the photo angles to only have us in shots that were taken in extremely busy public places. We even have several shots where it looks as though we are alone on Brooklyn Bridge!!
I normally hate the way I look in photographs, but I cannot stop looking at Mariah's work! I can't believe it's me in them sometimes!!
Family and friends are all so impressed with the quality of her photographs, and they can't believe it when I tell them how busy our locations were and yet we look alone in virtually all of them!
Not only was she excellent on the day, but beforehand she was so kind and reassuring towards me when I panicked at the notion of being in public places for photos. She suggested other locations that were quieter that she knew about, and she was so accommodating when I asked to change these even though it was the day before!! Her flexibility really helped put me at ease.
Not only was Mariah wonderful before and during our wedding, since we landed back in the UK she has remained in touch and still looked after us. Nothing is too much trouble for her, and the editing she has done to our photos is astonishing.
I cannot recommend Mariah's services enough. We feel so lucky and blessed to have found her through a random instagram search. She made our day so much more personal and amazing through capturing such precious moments that we can cherish forever.
An extremely talented, wonderful, and professional photographer who is capable of capturing your special day in unimaginable ways you never even knew were possible!
We feel as though we gained a friend as well as lots of magical photographs. We cannot thank her enough for her service.
