I'm Daughter North - Maria Usai, and I specialise in holistic practices for healing and stress. I work with yin and restorative yoga, reiki healing and sound vibrations to promote deep emotional healing and stress release.
I work to heal emotional upsets (such as heartache, grief, professional stress & burnout, anxiety, childhood trauma and low self-esteem) but in addition to the emotional benefits, the practices I offer are also a great way to promote physical healing when recovering from a operation, illness, medication or addictions.
Each holistic practice has its own unique benefits and the sessions will l be tailored to meet your requirements.
I have the pleasure to work with work with many high profile clients from film and TV, and well establishes corporate clients such as Google, Library Member Club and ASOS, and I also host regular magical events in beautiful upmarket venues in London including The Mandrake Hotel, Re:Minds Studio and The Montcalm Hotel. My sessions offer you a safe and supported space for the healing to take place within your heart, body and mind.
AN HOLISTIC APPROACH TO HEALING AND STRESS MANAGEMENT
Any session with me is an empowering experience that prioritizes the lived experience and required healing journey of each individual client. Safety, trust, choice, and control are core components of the time we spend together. The sessions will be designed around your individual needs and you will explore positive affirmations and invite a change in you mindset: changing the way you think and feel. You will be able to mindfulness in to every aspect of your life, combating stress and negativity on the deepest level.
All private yoga practises includes the use of essential oils and a hand or face massage.
YIN YOGA
Long held, seated poses that works deep with the bodies meridians (energy lines) allowing the prana (energy) to flow freely. Slow breathing, meditation and a long relaxing savasna (relaxation pose) accompanies the practice.
YIN FLOW
A modern variation of the traditional yin practice. Perfect for yogis that prefer a more moving practice but are recovering from illness or injury so want a gentle practice. This healing yoga style combines gentle movement with traditional yin poses.
RESTORATIVE YOGA
Even longer held, comfortable ( yep, that’s right; wonderful soft, supported poses) and deep relaxation. Taking your body and mind out of the “fight or flight” mood that we spend so much time in.
YANG / YIN
"Mix and match" two styles, for the best of both. A very popular choice for groups and corporate sessions.
SOUND BATHS
A sound healing session is a meditative experience which takes you on a journey to deep relaxation, healing and self discovery. You will experience the healing power of the sound vibrations as they penetrate our body on the deepest level, aligning and awaken your chakras and release any emotional blockages you hold.
REIKI HEALING
The practice aids relaxation, assist in the body's natural healing processes, and develop emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being. Reiki induce deep relaxation, help people cope with difficulties, relieve emotional stress, and improve overall well-being.
