Last May, Maria did a wonderful, amazing job on my daughter’s prom dress! When I needed a bridesmaid dress altered for a wedding next week I asked around locally but no one seemed to have an idea how to help hide the straps. Although now we live in Vermont and it would be a 2 1/2 hour drive each way I new Maria would have a creative solution. She is a seamstress and designer and sooooo talented! I stumbled upon Maria after being shocked at the price & turnaround time of wedding seamstresses recommended to me. Maria was my savior- she was able to fit me in whenever it worked best for me, had my gown completed quickly and was very reasonable on smaller follow up alterations. She thought outside the box and didn't stop until we found the perfect fit. Maria goes above and beyond and makes you feel like you are in your own living room. Helping. I'm honored to help people with their special occasions and wedding, providing quality alteration and design services
What inspired you to start your own business?
I actually just kind of fell into it. I've worked for some of the best local Bridal shops, some were a bit stuffy, and, some just didn't offer the kind of service I felt the customer deserved. I can't actually imagine working for anyone else after all this time.
Why should our clients choose you?
I have the years of experience to not only provide great service, but to provide expert advice to make your event what you envisioned. I actually love what I do, and It's obvious.
Bridal Gown Alterations
Alteration costs can vary depending on the gown. We will schedule an appointment, usually about an hour. I can provide an exact price for you that day. We will schedule a follow up appointment for approximately 3 weeks out for a final fitting.
Special Occasion Alterations
This appointment is usually about 1/2 hour long. We consider Prom, Bridesmaid, Mom's and any evening gown a special occasion alterations. Typically alterations for this type of dress is ready in 1 to 2 wks time. A follow up appointment will be scheduled that day
Regular Alterations
We do provide regular alterations for Men and women. Everything from hems, taking in, zippers repaired or replaced. It is not necessary to make an appointment for these type of alterations. Please keep in mind if we are working with an appointment, you may have to wait for a short time.
