The ceviche appetizer was delicious - generous pieces of shrimp and fish. The nachos were a bit less flavorful but maybe because we didn't add a protein (full price to add even at happy hour). I gotta say Margarita Villa is awesome Mexican restaurant its beautiful view, super friendly staff, yummy food & great tasting cocktails if you haven't check out this restaurant. I highly recommend you do so.

My mom and I have been looking for a place with good nachos ever since we moved to oxnard and now not only have we found a place with AMAZING nachos, we also found the perfect place to get awesome drinks with an outstanding view! Seriously Margarita Villa is the best mexican place I've been to in years. The carnitas are awesome and the day of the dead tequila sunrise is a hell of a drink. Margarita Villa was an accidental find. The service was very good, the drinks plentiful and the food delicious. The band, Kyle Smith, was excellent. Manny had chili Verdi which came with beans, rice and tortillas, Bobbye had a fresh ahi tuna salad which was huge and I just had a bowl of soup which came out only warm but tasty. More...

We visited on a weekday, after lunch, the place was nice and quite there are patio tables overviewing the ocean . Service awesome and the cocktails were excellent!

Starting with the staff, no one did anything so great that made them stand apart, however employee, Darius. When he told me if the bartender did not know how he would gladly make it for us! So sweet that man was. The bartender did however make sure that I finally got to enjoy my favorite shot...the cactus cooler shot is done by dropping shot of vodka and peach schnapps into a glass of red bull and the tiny orange juice! (IN A BOMBER FASHION )Every where I go no other bartender(s) even cares to look it up! Great location, wonderful clam chowder, good chips and salsa. They need a hostess at the back stairs or make it "exitonly" as it is a bit confusing and some people just sit down without realizing they need to keep walking to the front and stand behind the other people who came up the front stairs.
