The Jorgita Margarita is amazing! But the large is HUGE!! Probably one of the best margaritas I have had! I got the lunch carne asada and shrimp special and the portion was huge as well! Everything was great

Hands down my favorite Mexican restaurant in Vancouver, WA! My husband and I went in for happy hour and tried almost one of everything. There wasn't a single dish that was disappointing. The best think on their menu that we tried was the carne asada tacos. You can tell that the steak they use is quality beef and it's cooked very well. The margaritas are amazing as well! They do margarita flights where you can taste up to 4 different flavors at a time and they're all delicious. If you're a fan of spicy, I recommend trying the jalapeño pineapple combo! More...

Usually when I go to one of these places, their service is amazing. But yesterday it started out great, then our server stopped taking care of us to tend bar, which is fine but we didn't seem to have a server taking care of us. To the point where we had to flag down a server for just about whatever we wanted, including our checks. I have been to the Margarita factory on Mill Plain and the Tequila factory downtown Vancouver. Wanted to give the new place in Hazel Dell a try. So disappointed. Friday night - I get it.  Busy. But there was no excuse for the slow service. At the very least keep the chips and salsa filled to make your customers feel like they are being attended to!  An hour after our order we asked our server to tell the manager we were not happy with the wait for our food. Took some friends here for lunch. We sat at the bar and we're helped pretty quickly. The food was good and the service ok. My friend got his food but couldn't eat it because we had no silverware. We had to go find the bar tender and ask for some. Luckily, I had the nachos, so I could eat. I will go back, normally we have no issues and the food is good.Update:Been here several times now. The Mexican food is the best I've ever had. I know this is huge to say but you get more than your monies worth. The seafood is amazing in their Mexican dishes and they give you huge portions. We came in at around 7pm and it was pretty packed but the serviced was fast! You get chips and salsa as soon as you sit down, cool. Not too busy on a Sunday afternoon, and very well mannered staff. I appreciate a waiter that knows how to keep his or her distance and not check in every two seconds. So happy we tried this place out.  Atmosphere is comfortable with both inside and outside seating.  Service was exceptional. ..we had Maria as our waitress who knows the menu and does a really nice job overall.  The menu is huge, so there's something to entice anyone's palette.  We ordered the fajitas for two and chose chicken and steak.  The plate is very large and can easily feed three or possibly four.  You also get the standard extras like refried beans, salsa, sour cream, avocado, lettuce and Pico de Gallo.  Finally, they're called the Margarita Factory for a reason...they have an awesome selection of margaritas and samplers.  We will be back and I can't wait to try their other menu items...everything looked so good and you definitely will not leave hungry.Enjoy! Awkward review for me...Let's start with parking, easy parking and we were greeted at the door and immediately seated. Fun atmosphere with lots of great Latino music. The service was fast and the wait staff was friendly. Chips and salsa were just so so as other reviews stated.The happy hour margaritas actually has some alcohol in them which was great. Downside is the happy hour menu isn't worth ordering off of because the portion sizes are super small and adding anything extra(rice and beans) is additional. We were brought the wrong meal at first but it was quickly fixed.My Chimichangas off of the regular menu was awesome! So don't pinch pennies and order straight up for the food. The food is exceptionally good! Some of it tasted 'bland' but a few bites were absolutely scrumptious. The thing that I absolutely loved was how fresh everything looked and tasted. The food was shining with health, if that makes sense. The wait staff was a bit confusing...I'm not sure who out waiter was because like 4 different employees came to our table at different times. 5-stars because I'm rating this for what it is - a suburban casual dining chain, with a steer on the front. I got exactly what I was expecting for food and EXCEPTIONAL service every time. The inside looks like a Pinterest board, and they pull off their aesthetic well.It seemed like the kind of place I'd love to hate, and I wanted to go in to mock the "soccer mom" appeal... Then I got sick. I had a terrible cold for a month and after driving to 5 different restaurants in Vancouver in search of Chicken Tortilla Soup... (nobody made any that day because it was 100 outside) I walked in, in pajamas, and asked for to-go soup. The host looked at the pitiful sight I was, sat me in a booth away from everybody else with chips, salsa, and water... and hooked me up with soup. It wasn't chicken soup like grandma makes... it was probably heated up from a bag on site. That's okay. It was good bag soup. I just wanted soup.The second visit was today. We arrived just before Happy Hour while they were still on the lunch menu. We had two margaritas, a happy hour item, and an item from the lunch menu. Our server was attentive and explained the menus well. Then, we were charged the lower lunch price on the lunch item, and the happy hour prices on everything else. The margaritas were strong and delicious, the Fajita Nachos were hot and served with a LOT of guacamole, and the Taco Salad was generous. Wow! Attentive staff and fabulous meals. What a wonderful addition to this neighborhood!
The booths on the patio are a nice addition -that certainly will be nice this summer.
Huge HUGE portions on orders- my dinner guest and I needed to take 1/2 our orders home. Some great beers on tap and fun drinks, like the ER Margarita.
Place was packed at 7:00 pm.
Love the menu- lots of choices.
The only thing missing, were some purse hooks, under the bar for the ladies.
Hopeful those will appear someday?!
It is hard to keep purse on laps while eating at the bar.�

I am probably the most pickiest person when it comes to Mexican food. I was stationed before at Fort Hood, Texas. Now if y’all don’t know there’s pretty much only three big items we eat down there. Steak and taters, seafood, or tacos. Texans probably eat the most tacos. Well when I retired from the military and moved up here I was bummed cause I knew I wasn’t gonna have great Mexican food anymore. Sure I’ve had people tell me try this place or that place, but they were any good. Than we walked into here. I’ll be honest I thought it was gonna be another wanna be Mexican restaurant. They don’t have three out of the four dishes that I love to eat but damn it I was blown away. The place has great authentic food. When I found out the owner was there I had to let him know. FINNALY I have found a place that serves what I’ve been wanting. That chips and salsa are good but that habenaro salsa, oh yeah that hit the spot. I love spicy foods. We will definitely be back. I enjoyed my dinner at Margarita factory. The ladies in the front were very attentive and friendly. It was busy but we were at a table within minutes with chips and salsa. The server was friendly and took great care of us. The food delicious and well worth the price. There were definitely prices missing on the drinks but this was not a huge issue for me. We went in on a Thursday night at 8:15ish.  We'd been wanting to try it but every time we'd ridden by it was a weekend night and it was packed. I read the bad reviews, and a friend of mine went and said it was average, but we still decided to check it out for ourselves.We weren't super hungry, and sat the bar.  We had been wanting to try some sipping tequilas.  We talked to the bartender, Nate, and he immediately reached for their house tequila which is aged in Jack Daniels barrels and gave us a sample.  We liked it and I had a glass.  My fiance has Corona and also tried a higher end tequila.  Nate was great in educating us on some of their tequilas and telling us which ones to try.We ordered nachos and they were really great.  I don't eat meat, so they put the beef on half which worked out well.Service at the bar was great, we would sit there next time and hope Nate is working.
