We had our wedding at the Pickering Barn in Issaquah, wa. After being stumped how to hang up string lights in the Hay barn, I contacted Mary for help.

Mary and Spencer were professional, courteous, and a pleasure to talk to. Really calms the stress of planning a wedding!

Mary and her team hung up drapes with string lights. They were on time on arrival and upon the clean up time. Decor was amazing! Professional team and made our wedding into the vision we wanted plus more!

Mardee design and consulting will be my forever number 1 recommendation for all decor going forward. Thanks Mary!

I found Mary, from Mardees on Thumbtack. I told her I wanted a Nerd Chic Wedding. She had never done anything like that, but wanted to take it on. I was blown away. The room looked extraordinary, her and her team did an amazing job. It was beyond my wildest dreams and I was thrilled with what she did. I have hired Mardee's to provide decorations for several parties I've hosted at a downtown residential high rise each with around 175 attendees. Mary and her team have always done a fantastic job following my specifcations and delivering colorful arrangements, often helping me fulfill themes around the seasons.Raffling off her wonderful arrangements and setting up a "candy bar" in which people assemble their own treat bags among displays of various candies have been especially delightful for our residents. What I love the most about my job is meeting and helping people. I love what I do because I do what we love, that is, planning, designing and decorating wedding and events while meeting and working with great people. I take time to get to know our clients and you get to know us. I listen to your event dreams and ideas, your expectations and priorities, then we turn them into a one in a lifetime, spectacular event that reflects your style and personality. I'll handle all of the aspects of planning from design to tear down and cleanup. I take the stress out of planning.

I started Mardee's after numerous requests for to plan and decorate events. These request were coming from guests who attended events I planned, church members, and co-workers, etc. When you love what you do it is evident in the work that you do.

The number one reason someone chooses to work with me is because of our relationship/ friendship and trust that starts at our first consultation. I take time to get to know each client, their like and dislikes, what is most important to them, and their vision/dream. I treat each event as if I am planning for myself, family or a very close friend which in sense I am. I'm detail and task orientated, love deadlines, flexible, organized, visual, love to shop and make crafts, and have fun, lots of fun.

Overall Event & Financial Management Develop and manage the event direction, plan and production. Develop planning timeline that clearly outlines deliverables by each party, with scheduled updates to ensure progress for adoption by planning committee and deadlines are met. Develop event budget and manage all event revenues and expenses, provide budget updates as needed to ensure event financial goals are met. Make budget adjustments as needed. Determine staffing needs, coordinate and manage on-site staff. Vendors & Facility Management (as needed) Negotiate and manage event contracts to ensure terms are met by both parties. Serve as liaison between event officials, vendors and meeting facility personnel. Arrange for audio-visual equipment and schedule meeting rooms. Communicate event details to facility including space usage and support services. Coordinate all catered meals with selected catering vendor. Provide exhibit layout information to facility. Provide on-site logistics support staff. Review all venue and vendor invoices associated with the event, prior to payment. Event Creative & Marketing Develop a comprehensive event marketing strategy and plan. Work with client to design and distribute event invitations. Design event look/feel to including stage sets, décor, table centerpieces, etc. Sponsor & Exhibitor Management Assist in the development of Sponsor & Exhibitor Packages including identifying benefits and pricing the exposure opportunities. Serve as contact with all confirmed sponsors/exhibitors/demo’ers. Manage communication of logistical arrangements for exhibitors and sponsors.  Coordinate exhibit layout with facility. Serve as liaison between exhibitors and facility. Coordinate delivery of all sponsor registration bag insert materials. Provide on-site staff to manage sponsors and exhibitors. Speaker Management Once speakers are secured, monitor speaker needs. Correspond with speakers regarding session information to include room setup, audio visual requirements and special needs. Greet speakers and ensure technical presentations are ready prior to program. Registration Management Coordinate registration process, including online registration capability/system. Develop, coordinate and assemble conference materials (giveaways) for on-site distribution. Provide on-site event registration services. Provide regular registration reports to the client. Coordinate distribution of delegate registration confirmations. Design and produce name badges. Onsite Event Management Coordinate and manage all on-site activities and logistics.
