Until we brought our puppy in for training, we didn’t realize that Man’s Best Friend also boards cats. That works out Perfectly for us. We travel quite extensively and as much as we love Tigger...HE CANNOT BE TRUSTED HOME ALONE while we’re away. On one occasion, he started a small electrical fire and another he caused the house to flood. The cat room and enclosures are very nice and clean. We have now had three of our dogs trained, by Man’s Best Friend. It was a pleasant surprise to find out that the new Manager, is Jamie Marsh. Jamie actually trained our first dog “Vader” twelve years ago, at their NRH location. It is always comforting to see our dogs get excited, as we pull into the MBF parking lot. We took our dog here for the doggy daycare while we were having problems with him not wanting to play with other dogs and keeping to himself all the time and the daycare really helped him to come out of his shell. He became much more confident around other dogs. It was also great that he got plenty of exercise that he wouldn’t have had if he had been home all day in the crate. More...

Had to leave town quick and my Veternarian recommended Man’s Best friend in Grand Prairie as a professional, no nonsense dog boarding facility. I reside in Cedar Hill and it would had been more convenient to board my dog close to home, so I called a local facility and was less then impressed by their inability to articulate simple questions. I felt compelled to hung up and contacted “Man’s Best Friend.” And it was everything that my Veternarian had said it would be. Jamie greeted us and gave us training tips upon meeting us at our dog training evaluation. Tyler worked with our puppy during the Board & Train program and the first week home has been much easier. Tyler is an amazing trainer. He takes the time to know my dog’s personality. He is very patient and kind hearted. My dog Gayle looks forward to going to Doggie Day Care. Man's Best Friend has the most thoughtful experience staff I have ever seen. You can tell how well Gayle is been taken Care of. If she doesn't like someone she really will let me know. Different negative things that has been written concerning Man's Best Friend on YELP and GOOGLE I checked it out for myself and it was founded to be false. We recently took our 7 month old Weimaraner for boarding / training to the Grand Prairie location. I was very impressed with the results and highly recommend Man’s Best Friend
Matt did an outstanding job with the training - when we went to pick up our dog I was not sure what to expect but I can say my expectations were exceeded
Our Weimaraner is HIGH energy and a real handful but Matt did a fantastic job with the training and has really helped me and the rest of the family on how to continue the training at home - he’s like a new ( better) dog.
Also Carrie was extremely friendly and helped explained the entire process when we first checked into Man’s Best Friend. Overall extremely please with the entire result and reasonable price

Great people who know what they're doing. We let them teach our 8 month old Shepherd basic obedience as well as basic protection.
