We have used M.E. couple of times, most recently to replace our old fuse box with a new consumer unit, and can not recommend them highly enough.

Every time we have used them they have always turned up on time and provide accurate, reasonably priced quotes before beginning any works.

With regards to the new consumer unit, they replaced the old unit with high quality branded replacement and spent several hours fitting the new unit. After fitting the new unit they checked all the existing plugs and lighting circuits as part of the works. In our case we were very lucky to have this service as they discovered a few sockets had been wired very badly, which they corrected.

I got a few quotes for a full re-wire on my 3 bed semi. From the first phone call to Louie i could tell he was the man for the job. Straight talking and the best price. Included within the quote were wired in smoke and heat detectors x3 and enough sockets to run every electrical device and more. They will not plaster afterwards but i saw this as a positive as an electrician isn't a plasterer. Got my plasterer to do it when he plastered the kitchen and it cost next to nothing. After having an electrical report completed on our new house we needed to have some crucial undertaken, including new consumer unit. From the moment I phoned Manchester Electric I was very impressed firstly due to the time and detail Louis spent explaining the electrical report to me and what it meant (In English).On the day the work was completed I cant stress how happy we were. What can I say. It was firstly very nice to meet a genuine, honest and friendly man who was also very down to earth in my opinion. Two large new metal light pendant fittings were installed neatly and professionally. Manchester Electric gave a time and date at very short notice and arrived the next day WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD....so comforting these days!. Manchester Electric arrived ON TIME and finished on the time and promptly. Manchester Electric took thier time and when some of the light fitting parts weren't so straightforward the Electrician patiently took the time to set up the light fitting right and did not charge us any extra. Most of all, the Price was fantastic and I was honestly surprised at the price and will be recommending to all we know in the future, no doubt whatsoever. An absolute pleasure. My faith has been restored by this contractor. I cannot see anyone NOT being satisfied.
