Shannon was great! She was very easy to work with and very responsive to emails/phone calls. One of the reasons I chose her to be the photographer for my wedding was that built into her base pricing included receiving all of the photos from your wedding on a thumb drive for you to keep. This was a major benefit to me compared to other photographers who want to charge you an enormous extra amount to receive all your photos, just so you can have those extra pictures of your cake and your little cousins dancing. I cannot recommend Shannon enough for your professional photography needs. Shannon was this calm, quiet presence on our wedding day, and was a huge comfort during the entire event - knowing where to go, when to be there, she was completely on top of EVERYTHING. Shannon was super flexible to all of the requests we had - photos on a freezing, windy Pacific Northwest beach, anyone?! - and showed up on time, stayed late, and checked in often without disturbing the flow of the event. The end results were AMAZING and captured our glam beach fiesta exactly as I had envisioned. Shannon is professional, personable, and easily blends in to the wedding day festivities. At our wedding, Shannon struck the perfect balance of listening and respecting our photography requests, while also taking the lead as needed, acting as crowd control when necessary, and remained flexible even when schedules changed or things got off track.
One thing that I appreciate most about Shannon's photography is her ability to capture natural and authentic moments even in the midst of the chaos within a wedding. During our photoshoot prior to the ceremony, Shannon gently guided and directed us into a variety of poses, and was flexible and accommodating to our own requests. She continually made sure that we felt relaxed and looked good, and throughout the day and night she captured us at our best.
Shannon did an amazing job capturing the big moments that we will treasure forever, and also did a fantastic job capturing the little moments that we missed in the moment.
