Malibu's Maid To Order

I hired Malibu's Maid to Order to clean my 2100 sq ft home. I spoke with Marybeth who is very nice. She doesn't know how awful the cleaning service is, I don't think anyway. The first time Carolina came, she spent 5 hours in the kitchen which is the size of a small hallway. The next time she spent forever going through my pantry and throwing expired spices away but didn't bother to clean the shelves. She didn't vacuum under the beds or nightstands. She left the hamper of dirty clothes in the bedrooms and bathrooms. She could never finish cleaning my house in 5 hours so I had to add on an extra hour. I was promised that's all she needed. She couldn't finish "cleaning" my house in 6 hours. Marybeth talked me into keeping her for 3 or 4 more weeks. Ugh. She never got any better. Marybeth found me a different person, Julie. I thought Julie was the best because I lowered my standard after Carolina. Julie actually cleaned under the beds and nightstands, when I say clean I mean vacuum. I had Julie 3 times. She was here yesterday. She didn't clean any trays of things-- soap and lotion tray in bathrooms, mirrored tray that holds my perfume, tray on my nightstand that had a lamp (never dusted or cleaned). She, too, left hampers in each room of dirty clothes instead of taking them to the laundry. I'm not expecting anyone to do my laundry. This is the best...it's 10pm last night ready to get in bed when I realize that while Julie changed the sheets, she did not change the pillowcases. I was so irritated. Julie also didn't empty the trash under the kitchen sink. She left things on the kitchen counter that could she could easily put away... jar of peanut butter goes in the pantry. She made my sons bed and neatly placed the random stuff he had in/on his bed in a row on top of the made bed. There is a book shelf sitting right next to his bed that looks like it's a catch all for random things..it's all clutter. Just put them on the book case and while you're at it, how about dusting it just a little. Insane. I think they mostly clean air bnbs and according to Marybeth, they've never had a complaint. I wonder why? Maybe because people don't actually live there. Idk. I know it's hard to find quality people, but don't waste your money here. It will aggravate you more that you paid for a service that you didn't get than doing it yourself. Keep looking. I called Merry Maids, at least there's a quality standard and check list. Oh! And I asked Marybeth if she would come to my house next time Julie came and she said no. She said that she doesn't have time to go to clients homes to check the quality of service that she's providing. So while I said she's nice, she kind-of isn't. She manipulated me into staying with her company. She said no when I asked if she would consider reimbursing me for something...anything. The moral of the story is just keep looking because you're going to be mad if you hire Malibu's Maid to Order. More...

She's very efficient and friendly. She starts at one end of the house and works her way through. I am so please with Julie.

Karly did a great job cleaning our house. She was thorough and very friendly!

Very positive experience. my house has never been cleaner. Competitive pricing
