is an amazing make up artist. She is professional, kind, funny, and all around inviting. I had the pleasure of working with her on 9/21/2013. I came to know about her after the original make up artist I booked told me that she double booked the day of my wedding and would have to cancel on me (this was 2days prior to my wedding). I'm flipping out at this point. I called around everywhere and most people are booked. The place where I picked up my wedding dress and tux gave me a card and said call it. Well, the lady I called said she was booked as well for that Saturday. So she told me to call Lisa and raved about her. I called Lisa and immediately I received a call back stating that she could do it. I received her contract and sent it back ASAP. I know that race does not matter but I let her know that I am African American and need 2 tattoos covered up as well. She reassured me that it would not be an issue. Saturday comes and she makes it to the venue 3 or 4 hours prior to the actual wedding time. That impressed me because most people are late, but not Mrs. Lisa. She asked me what I wanted, how my make up usually looks like and what my vision for the day was. I explained to her I love heavy eye make up but I wanted to look more soft and not like a drag queen in a wedding dress. LOL Ladies, if she tells you no airbrush make up take her advice on it. Do not fight her. Hint: airbrush makeup runs, especially if you have a huge wedding dress like mine that will make you hot. She starts on my makeup and all the while she is talking and asking you questions to find out about your personality. That makes a difference when someone is tailoring makeup to your style. Anyways, she is hilarious by the way if I may add. She finishes and I take a look in the mirror and WOW! My face is flawless. My tattoo cover up is flawless!! Ladies DO NOT BE CHEAP HIRE THIS WOMAN!!! I will be rehiring and referring her to everyone I know and don't know. She is an amazing person!!! More...

I was married in Las Vegas on 1/10/2015.  Making up Las Vegas was truly the best decision I could have made for pre-wedding beautification! !!  They showed up early, had every beauty supply you could think of in tow including lighting and as a bonus were all totally hilarious!!!  It felt like the four of them were old friends by the end of the session!  All of us girls had so much fun dancing in the suite while we were getting primped, drinking champagne and trying to stay relaxed!! When my nerves started to get the best of me, Lisa whipped out her lavender oil and rubbed it on my neck and hand and had me inhale deeply!  It was exactly what I needed to get back into relaxation mode on such a hectic day!  I have never felt so beautiful in my entire life as I did that day and my makeup and hair both lasted through four long hours of heavy dancing & sweating!!!  My bridesmaids all looked spectacular and Lisa was so accommodating when I needed to add two people to the service only a couple weeks before the wedding.  When my mom realized she should have signed up for makeup too, Lisa added her in day of no problem!!! This company was truly a pleasure to work with and I couldn't have been happier with my decision!!!  I will definitely use her again anytime I'm in Vegas even just for a night out!!!  Pricing was more than reasonable & totally worth it! I was just recommending these ladies to someone having their bachelorette in Las Vegas & just realized I never Yelp'ed them following my own bachelorette party last August. I'm the sister of the other reviewer from Chicago who said she treated her sister to hair & make-up for her bachelorette & loved this team as much as she did. The girls from Making Up Las Vegas came to our hotel room to do mine & my sister's hair & make-up & the make-up of some of the other girls in the bachelorette party. They did the most amazing job & I have never felt so beautiful when they were done. They may have even outdid my wedding hair & make-up. Lisa did my make-up, and I have sensitive/ combination skin that is really hard to deal with, and she took the time to understand my skin & picked make-up that worked so well with it that I went out and purchased it and have been using it ever since. I also bought the same lipstick she used on me for my wedding day. I forgot the name of the girl that did my hair, but she did equally great job & the curls she put in my hair lasted all night and still looked great in the morning. Lastly, on top of being great at what they do...they were nice & fun to hang out with for the afternoon while we got ready for a fun night out! Everyone that they worked on looked great, and I highly highly recommend these gals & will plan to give them a call anytime I'm in Vegas and need to look beautiful!! :) More...

If you are in the Las Vegas area and you are looking to have your make-up or hair done you MUST pick  these ladies!I was recently in Sin City for my sisters bachelorette party and I wanted to treat her to something special. She had her hair as well as her make-up done and the work that they did was beautiful. My sister is already gorgeous, but Making Up Las Vegas took her to the next level!  She blew all of the other bachelorettes out on the strip out of the water that evening! Myself and another girl also had our make-up done and it was flawless! A couple of the other gals just had some really fun lashes put on that looked amazing.
