Amy's shop is a one stop heaven of all things beauty! I wouldn't dream of going on a night out without having my make up done there! ! Amy and her team are lovely girls who make you feel comfortable and welcome as soon as you walk through the door. Amys collection of make up is massive!! I have no idea what half of the products are for but Amy never minds explaining them :) I took my sister to the salon once to get her make up done and now she goes without me!! I would highly recommend Amy's salon to everyone! More...

What do you love most about your job?
I love to give people confidence, the change in someone’s personality can be quite remarkable when they feel good about themselves. I am so fortunate I get to meet people from all walks of life and no day is ever the same
What inspired you to start your own business?
I worked in offices for a long time before I decided to go into Makeup. I worked full time and done by college training of an evening after work. Once qualified I worked freelance around my work hours and it quickly took over and I was so busy! I started to work from home and had my front bedroom like a mini salon and eventually made the jump into opening my own salon. That was 5 years ago and my business is going from strength to strength
