I had been working with Turbo Tax previously and decided it was time to visit an accounting professional since I had purchased and sold property. All tax preparation can be handled through the use of their cloud based portal which is a definite advantage for the customer. I never would have come across "make my day cpa" had it not been for visiting another vendor in the same building. I had been doing my own taxes with Turbotax for the last several years but as my situation became more complex, I no longer felt confident to do so.

I found "make my day CPA" to be very professional, easy to work with and very efficient. I initially met with Carolina, reviewed my tax situation, and asked for a cost quote - which turned out to be very reasonable.

I then sent my paperwork over their on-line secured portal; spoke with the accountant a few times; and, he made suggestions that decreased my tax liability. Ten days later, I stopped by to sign the papers which allowed them to file my federal and state taxes electronically.

My husband and I stopped by Make My Day, CPA and got a lot of helpful advice around formalizing our small business. It was worth the money to get advice and some peace of mind around all the new things we need to do to comply with regulations, and learn how we can begin to think strategically about the structure of our business. They also offer a lot of different options for getting help with tax returns. They can of course do it all for you, but they have more economical options that I didn't know they offered. Great local company. Very easy to work with. Once we were assigned an accountant he was available in person, via email, and over the phone.     We used their tax preparation service and found it to be quick and professional. The pricing (which was only a little more than paid at large shops where we were given fair less attention) was very fair. We were asked to pay half up front and the rest when the return was ready.They were able to sort through our chaotic files and ask the right questions to identify potential deductions. I am in the process of opening the doors to my business and getting my accounting software sorted out has been my highest priority.  However, I have had difficulty in finding an accountant that was interested in working with me (opening a small spa).  One accountant just blew me off (and he was highly recommended to me through a friend), another didn't answer any of my questions, and the other two never responded to my inquiries.  I was really getting frustrated and then I found Make My Day CPA.Anastasia, the receptionist, was genuinely welcoming and assured me that they could help me.  She paired me with Max who listened to what I needed, pulled up my account on Xero, patiently went through it with me, and answered all of my questions.  He answered questions on everything from sales tax, recording inventory, to estimating my yearly taxes.  I just received a follow-up email from him recommending a business platform software that he thought would really meet my needs based on what we had discussed earlier. I really liked that they had the computer terminals set up so that you could file your taxes with supervision if you wanted to.  This is really important to me as this will be my first year for filing taxes for my business and I want to do it right.  Parking was easy too.
