The finished stairway is striking and has completely transformed the look of our entryway! Preston (son of the owner) was a tireless and detailed craftsman and it was a pleasure to watch him transform our stairs! We had a great experience with the entire team at Majestic Rails. Russell did a great job estimating the project and the team of Preston and Ian did a fantastic job of giving our entryway and upstairs loft/hallway a complete transformation from the builder-standard Red Oak stair railing and balusters to the beautiful hickory rails/newels and black iron balusters. They also gave us great options for the staining / painting and the carpet work. Had a great experience with this company. The estimate process was great, Cameron was really thorough and asked what I wanted down to the small details which I appreciated because it felt like it would end up exactly how I pictured (and it did). The rail was a bit pricey but definitely worth it, you can tell they put a lot of craftmanship and care into creating the perfect rail for you. My husband and I are big DIY people, not only because we love doing stuff, but because quite frankly anytime we hire something done we’re disappointed with the outcome. As we are aging we are finding we need to ask for help more and more. This being said, imagine our surprise when we found Majestic Rails, Inc. to design and install a stair railing in our home. From the beginning to the end it was an amazing experience. Russell Blanch came out to do a walk through to see exactly what we were looking for. He has done hundreds of railings but was very interested to hear our ideas and made some suggestions of his own. The company even re-worked the bid several times due to my lack of expressing what I truly wanted. When it came time for the install Ashton showed up at our door. It just so happened he is the owner’s son. Not only did he meet our expectations but far exceeded them. This young man is not the run of the mill handyman, he is a true Artist. Taking pieces of oak railing and turning them into beautiful functional railings. Not just a functional element but a beautiful work of art, a true focal point! He cleaned up each day before leaving for the evening and on the last day totally cleaned everything both in the house and in the garage, which he had used as his shop for the project.
