As first time buyers, we were in desperate need of some TLC when it came to learning about mortgages and buying our first home.
We met with Tony Brough when we first started saving our deposit, which was quite possibly one of the best things we ever did! He firstly explained all of the confusing mortgage jargon, and then went through our finances and worked out what price bracket we should be aiming towards, as well as offering additional advice regards credit etc. Over the next six months, Tony stayed in touch to see how we were doing, always at the end of the phone to answer our questions. When we were ready, we met up and went through everything from finances, potential lenders to options for life insurance. As soon as we found a property, we contacted Tony, who got the ball rolling from the word go, finding a mortgage that suited us, dealing with the solicitors and the bank and setting up the required insurances. We didn’t have to do anything but sign the papers.
He was there for us from start to finish, and we can honestly say we could not have done it without him. People say moving house is one of the most stressful things to do, but with a broker like Tony, it was easy!
