I found myself in a situation where I needed help with A/V equipment availability for my daughter's rehearsal dinner at the last minute. JT was absolutely super to work with. He had the equipment I needed and made himself available on short notice to deliver, set-up, and do system checks with my computer. BTW, the venue was in Bar Harbor, which meant JT had not only had to travel, but also coordinate with the venue around their busy schedules for both installation and tear-down. Simply put, he's a customer oriented professional who is fun to work with and is down to earth. On top of all of this, his prices are very reasonable. It's awesome to find someone like this. We just had our wedding this weekend and Maine Audio Visual was an amazing service! We decided to make our own playlists instead of hiring a DJ and James delivered all the equipment we needed to make our music happen! I was worried about setting up the equipment outside for our ceremony, but he had everything needed to make it work! He delivered the equipment right to our wedding venue, set it up for us, and took the time to explain the set up and how to use all the equipment. James was incredibly easy to work with. We didn't have a lot of money to work with & he helped make sure we were getting what we needed but also kept it cost effective. He was very flexible with pick up & drop off times (although he does deliver, it was easier for us to pick it up). For my wedding I knew I was going to DIY most of the music. But given my venue was at a fairly remote location the rental options for audio equipment, mics, ect was fairly limited. I knew I wanted to rent from a place that strictly did audio equipment so I could get the most professional equiptment. After looking into a few options, none of which offered delivery, pickup, or set up I stumbled upon James and Maine Audio Visual. What a freaking treasure he is! Not only were his prices incredibly fair, but he was so kind in adjusting the cost of uplighting (which I hadn't thought I could afford at all) to fit my budget. I rented the equiptment for the entire weekend (thur-sun) and he was super prompt to show up Thursday, set everything up admist the wedding decorating madness, and then take the time to show me how everything worked. I am no super tech savvy but his equiptment was new and fantastic to work with. The sound for the ceremony, dinner which took place in a tent, and the dancing in the barn we're outstanding. James was such a nice guy, so easy going, and I'm so glad we worked with him. Would highly highly recommend! More...
