Welcome to MagiKats Hereford! I am proud to be able to bring the successful MagiKats Maths and English programme to this area.
I have worked in Education for over 25 years, and I have been a Foster Carer in Herefordshire since 2005. Having worked with children for many years I realised that most could benefit from extra support or extension in Maths and English, and I decided that the time was right to invest in this new and exciting venture.

Magikats tuition has helped my son hugely with his English, as a home ed family we really love having magikats as part of our week. He is now really enjoying writing and reading and is building more confidence each week, the teachers are fantastic and the lessons are always tailored to suit what he will most benefit from learning, the homework sent back is relevant and really helpful for ongoing learning in the week. I contacted MagiKats as my daughter (8) has dyscacluia and was really struggling to keep up with the fast pace of the school curriculum. Olive was losing confidence and felt she was ‘rubbish at maths.’ MagiKats has helped Olive develop self belief and confidence and she actually looks forward to going and is engaged in the learning . The approach is gentle and fun and learning is all at their own pace . We are now starting to do some literacy with them too and it’s looking to be as successful as the maths! It was one of the best decisions that we made to send our daughter to MagiKats Maldon. From the initial contact to the regular feedback, we have been thoroughly impressed with the professionalism and organisation. It is a warm and welcoming environment which looks at developing strengths as well as identifying areas that may need more support. It is exceptionally well organised and delivered by friendly and approachable tutors who are nurturing and supportive. Magikats (Kath) has been doing 1 on 1 session with my daughter (yr 11) for over a year now. The sessions have built her confidence and Kath helps her understand and ‘get it’. I started using magikats at the beginning of the first lockdown as I was worried my son would fall behind if he didn't keep up with any kind of school work. step was accommodating finding times that suited us to enable to have a zoom lesson every week. not only has magikats helped my son to excel in both maths and English it also aided me in better ways to assist my son with school work outside of MagiKats.
