How long have you been interested in magic?
I am not interested in Magic tricks, but in process of creating FUN, JOY and SMILES that kids of all ages have when we go through the journey that a magic trick provides. The interaction with guests, and audiences. Seeing the kids get involved in a trick and being surprised at the end. The amazement and expressions on their faces when they are sure they know how a trick is done, only to be completely surprised at the end. That JOY lasts a LIFE TIME! When they are 98 years old, they will still look back and smile at the thought of their 6th birthday party and the trick Magical Matty did for them.
I've been performing Magic Shows since 2013.
Take us through your show – what can we expect?
My shows are very audience participation friendly. Everyone gets to help out with the magic words, throwing the invisible ball, catching me in a lie when my magic tie pops up. Being part of a group is awesome. Especially when that group is all pointing, yelling and laughing so loud you can hear them next door. Plus, I do have special sections in my shows just for the Birthday Star. However, even when it's just them on stage, the whole audience gets to participate.
My shows are an experience for everyone watching.
What do you love most about your job?
Creating smiles on peoples faces. Bringing them JOY and letting them be themselves for just a bit (a kid). Parties are for FUN and a magic show is no exception.
I also twist balloon animals, paint faces and perform as characters (pirate, clown, elf, etc...) which makes it even more fun and exciting for everyone at the event.
What inspired you to start your own business?
It's all about the SMILES! Seeing someone smile is the best thing in life.
Why should our clients choose you?
Although I have a kid inside me and know how to have FUN, I am also an adult and able to communicate with adults just as easily. Letting you know your event will be taken care of and that I will supply the entertainment you requested is very important to me. You have enough stress on your plate planning the event and managing the details. I love being able to come in and let you relax for a bit while I am there without worrying if I'm doing my job.
I give you professional service from our first conversation until after the event. Honestly, I don't want just your business, I also want the business of everyone else who is at your event. That can only happen if I bring you the BEST I have to offer!

Balloon Animals
The fun STARTS when the balloons come out. I love twisting balloons for kids of all ages. I can twist all kinds of balloon creations that all the kids (and adults) will love. Additionally, I can come as my fun self, or as a character (Pirate, Clown, Cowboy, Christmas Elf, etc...)
Face Painting
Kids of all ages love face painting. Turning a beautiful girl into a princess, or a toddler into a tiger and seeing their gorgeous smile when they look in the mirror is just amazing. All my face paintings can come with sparkling glitter and lip/hair color.
Glitter Tattoos
These sparkling works of art are so much fun for all ages and events. Boys & Girls love them. Plus, they are waterproof and last up to 7 days. Tons of shiny, glittering colors to choose from and lots of choices too. They go on fast and last and last.
Caricature Drawings
Live caricature (cartoon) drawing of guests are perfect for the older kids and adults. Plus, they get to take home a souvenir from your event. The best part is actually watching everyone else get drawn and laughing with them as they see the picture of them self for the first time. Caricatures bring a LOT of fun to events and parties. Especially holiday parties.
Clown
I love being a fun, happy clown more than anything!!! Soda-Pop McBop loves entertaining kids and adults with Magic Shows, silly antics, balloon animals, face painting and lots more. The fun and smiles that clowns bring can NOT be beat.
Pirate
Pirate parties are great. Plus they can go along with princess parties and even mermaid themed events. I offer a custom magic show just for my Pirate character "First Mate Matty". Additionally, I can twist balloon animals or paint faces. Not to mention glitter tattoos. You can have more fun with Pirates than you would believe was possible. Aurgghhh, let's be puttin on a show and bringin some smiles to those scallywaggin kids!
