Derek was the star of the night. His magic tricks provided great entertainment as students mingled between check-in and dinner. High level tricks that totally captured the kids' interest. I had a 50s vintage wedding with black candles, cigarette gum, popcorn, and other things that made our wedding feel special. Derek successfully mystified and terrified all of our friends and family at our wedding last weekend and it was so relieving to have someone so captivating to entertain our guests while our bridal party was away taking photos. Derek performed at my 50th birthday party. He arrived early and stayed late at no additional cost. This party meant a lot to me. It was the first time I've thrown a party of this magnitude and I was nervous about the guests all having fun.Derek entered the room and almost instantly I was hearing applause, squealing and laughter from the guests! He was charismatic and presented well but most of all he was MAGIC! Truly masterful! People were blown away at the things he did. An example, he popped a balloon and it turned into a bottle of wine before all our eyes! I hired Derek to entertain at my birthday party. He was very professional from the moment we started discussing the event. I was very impressed with the way in which he conducted business. His entertainment contract explained everything from A to Z, so there were no misunderstandings. Derek was punctual and was sensitive to accommodate one of my late arrival handicapped guests.Derek was extremely entertaining, and his outstanding performance had the audience captivated! I am highly recommending Derek for your next party or event. I surprised my husband and all our guests at his Birthday party with a performance by Derek. I can't say enough good things about Derek. He came to a company lunch event and Derek was the highlight of the day! He is truly unlike any magician I have seen before. He not only is incredible at the classic card tricks, but did some crazy things with technology that left people bewildered all night. Derek was amazing. We had him come to our friends house for my birthday and did a few tricks for the kids and then spent the rest of the time doing tricks for the adults.
