I was sooo excited to have Marcos bartend my holiday party, I booked him months ago. Now we find ourselves 5 days from my party and my walls and floor need to be ripped out of my house due to water damage and I have to cancel my party. Marcos not only isn't charging me for canceling, he is even refunding my deposit and it's just so nice I can't even believe it. I wish I could review him based on his actual bartending services, but these days good customer service is probably even more rare than an excellent bartender. Such a great concept! I was researching entertainment options for my company event, and I originally wanted to hire a separate magician and a separate mixologist, but we wouldn't be able to fit both into our budget. I started researching just mixologists and discovered Magic & Cocktails! I was so excited to find them. From there on out, the whole planning experience with Pamela was very thought out and accommodating. She was amazing to work with. And Marcos, the talent and life of the party! It was an absolute pleasure working with Marcos & his team at Magic & Cocktails! I initially booked them cause they had the best pricing for my pop-up shop event. Marcos was very attentive throughout the booking & menu creating process. On the day of the event, He was on time and took care of all the set-up (including ice!) We had requested a woman bartender since it was a woman focused event and his bartender, Marcella, was perfect! She kept our guests glasses filled and had a great personality. Magic and Cocktails organized the bar for my daughter's school fundraiser and it was a total success. Everyone, parents, faculty, and administration, was in awe of the service provided. The bar was set up beautifully. The specialty cocktails were so delicious and well crafted. And the best part was having Marcos as a magic bartender!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Magic and Cocktails for any family party and company gathering. I planned a large community business mixer at the Google Headquarters in Los Angeles and needed to find a bartending service within a week. Marcos (the owner) was very responsive and adaptable with my request. Marcos and his team were extremely professional, provided all licenses, insurance, and certifications required, and not to mention were the HIT of the party. Magic and Cocktails did an amazing job for our party at the Houdini Estate. Marcos is the magician bartender which everyone loved and went with the theme! Easy package including high quality mixers and toppings, ice and glasses. My cousin had her Anniversary party in Granada Hills and Magic and Cocktails were the main attraction. The set up was great, the bartender (Matthew) was Awesome. He poured drinks while doing magic, we loved it!! I love that they set everything up and brought ice and mixers. And the next day they came and took everything away, and left her backyard spotless. ...aaaand *POOF*!! Tasty libations at events can be a gamble. But not this night. It was also the final surprise as Marcos and his team from Magic and Cocktails began assembling some premium craft cocktails from the Signature Drink of the night at this private Hollywood Holiday Party this past Thursday night! ! Watching skilled bartenders at work with precision on flavor profiles and proportions, this was a drink anticipated to partake in.........but I was not in a rush as the illusions began to draw a crowd around me. It was as if my personal drink was being celebrated with bystanders cheering on in awe as *MAGIC* was literally performed in this process. It was clear the energy and passion Marcos displayed. As if my beverage of choice won 1st prize...just seeing him deftly perform one illusion and ultimately, with his charming smile, handed the final product out to me for my consumption analysis. WoW! Just wow,...it has been 2 days and I may have forgotten what was in the drink recipe but I did not forget the amazing performance receiving it. Grey Goose Vodka as the primary liquor, and the smack of Thai Basil leaves to release oils and 2 fresh cut limes squeezed as final garnish. Delicious!! Magic and Cocktails is the most fun people in LA!!! I was blown away while I was ordering drinks at this really nice event and the bartender starts doing magic tricks, it was so cool. I remember one of bartenders pulled a card out of a piece of fruit next to me that was another guests card, I mean wow, such fun! The staff was super friendly and definitely made the night. I had to organize a work event and came across Magic and Cocktail while attending one of their events they were working at the time. I met Marcos and Tatiana and they did a few very impressive tricks. I couldn't wait to hire them for the event coming up.The event was a success! My co-workers and my boss was very impressed and I was very pleased with the decision I had made of hiring them. The bartenders were very friendly and service minded. First of all, this is SUCH a fun business idea! I mean, who doesn't want magic with their cocktails?Hosting a party and need a bit of extra entertainment?
