How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
At Maggio's Catering, we work as a consultant to ensure the best culinary experience for your event. When we discuss your party and the type of event, working off the theme of your event, we ensure a thorough break-down of ideas for your menu. We also offer special THEMED PARTY packages as well, to even include an ADULT GRILLED CHEESE PARTY.
What do you love most about your job?
Working with the customer, there are so many changing and new culinary ideas. At Maggio's Catering Services, we don't just offer the traditional menu everyone else has, we take it a step further! We offer traditional menu, but go as far out as you want? You have a Luau Party? Why not do Coconut Basmati Rice alongside Mango Salsa Shrimp and Peanut Noodle Salad. Yes, we think outside the box!
What inspired you to start your own business?
Family support and thirty years of experience, and seeing the shortcuts that so many caterers take. As a prior Food Sales Consultant for two of the biggest NATIONWIDE food distributors, it is sad to see the shortcuts and tricks the catering companies offer to keep their food costs down? Here? IF you ask for meatballs, your getting fresh meatballs, not frozen! Veal? Yes veal, not pounded down pork! How about the simplest thing as vegetable? Yes, FRESH VEGETABLES, not frozen!
