Wonderful environment and caring, communicative, staff. Clean, food is very good, staff and residents look happy. Nice range of activities and feels safe and secure. Only "minus" comment is that entering/exiting through the front door is a little difficult when manoeuvring a wheelchair as the pathway from the door to the outside is not even, have to lift the wheels of the wheelchair to exit, this is tricky but not unmanageable. My mother moved into Merlewood in April 2018. She settled in very easily. I can not fault the care she has received. The staff - carers, laundry staff, kitchen staff and managers are all very considerate and caring. The activities are wonderful and well organised. My mother has lived at Merlewood for around 18 months and I wanted to say how pleased I am we chose Merlewood as my mother's new home. She has been under both residential care and nursing care and her care under both these situations has been excellent. My mum is sometimes unwell but the staff there are always aware of when mum is poorly and advises us what action will be taken to help her get well again. I know mum is really well cared for at Merlewood. She loves the activities which are arranged and goes to as many as she feels able. There are activities every day, so if mum wanted to she could be busy all day long. But sometimes mum chooses to stay in her room and that is fine as there are staff going past her room frequently and she can always press the buzzer to call for help if need be. My name is Christine Thomas. My mum has been in Merlewood for about a year and a half. Before that, she was in two different homes in the areas and she was really unhappy. Since moving to Merlewood she has been a different person. I never wanted my mum to go in to a home so it was hard to make that decision. Mum started off as a residential patient but because of health concerns was transferred to nursing but she was able to stay in her room. In both residential and nursing, we have found the staff very helpful, caring and friendly and they are so good with mum. It is such a comfort to know that we can leave mum in such good hands. If any small thing happens for example if mum has a fall or the staff have asked the doctor in as happened this week because of a cough she has, they always ring and let me know, Mum loves the social events that are put on and she really enjoys the food. My grandmother stayed at The Lodge a few years ago and I have been back many times since. The Lodge is a wonderful home! My Grandma lives at The Lodge. All staff there are friendly, and give her the best care possible. Nothing is too much trouble and we are always made to feel welcome to visit no matter what time of day. Amazing care home.

What's most refreshing about working with magenta7 is their ability to not just churn out a website - any old agency can do that, but their ability to deeply understand the business, give (commercial) advice and then bake all of that into a plan.
I've had magenta7 create websites and other marketing activities such as ROI calculators for me in 3 companies now and every time they take the time to get to know the market so whatever is produced is properly effective.
Highly recommended agency for getting stuff done - and on time to a high quality, not just done to a cheap budget with compromises.
