A very lively place where the owner himself looks into the things if they are worked out properly and none of the customers are dissatisfied. Liked the Fish Meal ordered and asked for a preference to spicy ️ or non-spicy. The portion size is good, an average person cannot finish the meal and atleast 1/4th would be left. A very good customer service ...... Kudos to Madina Desi Curry staff n management More...

So far the best BBQ I had in Dublin. I've talked with three taxi drivers, all of them promised me that they only decent and authentic curry in the city (Desi means traditional) is on Mary Street. I didn’t really believe them because If I had a penny for every person who’d told me about a good curry in Dublin I’d have enough money to fly to Mumbai for the real thing. But actually, they were more than right! Lovers of spices and meat, here is the place for you. More...

Mmmmmm. Good, affordable Indian food! Even though it looks small outside, it's a two story restaurant.Foodwise, everything was delicious. We ordered chicken tikka masala, chicken biryani, and naan bread. Chicken Tikka- between the sweet and spicy option,I chose sweet and I loved it! Very mild and it has a creamy sauce. It was as good as the one where I usually eat in California so it definitely reminded me of home. Biryani- filling and pairs well with the side of curry sauce that comes along it it.Naan- I give them kudos for cooking it perfectly! No burns or charcoal patches like other places I've been to.  Service wise- it was okay. Our server was nice, but once the place was busy, it was difficult to get her to pass by our table to ask for anything. When we asked for the bill, she informed us that we had to pay downstairs. Kind of annoying because she could've informed us earlier rather than making us wait a good 30 minutes just to tell us that.Despite that, I'd come back again to try the rest of the menu! More...

Madina! Best Indian in Dublin, cheap and cheerful and exactly what the doctor ordered on a Sunday. I always order from the specials, great price and good value. I ordered the chicken Biryani with peshwari naan, really big portions and it came with a drink. Madina was busy, it's always busy and only one serving staff which is annoying but food is cheap. Madina is a simple restaurant, very casual, but effective, serving tasty food at sensible prices. The location is great, really central right by Capel St. , and they stay open until relatively late (yey!).This is the best Indian food I've tried in Dublin yet. Very hearty and tasty, bold enough with the spices and a great menu with some of my favourite dishes in it - I particularly like their bhindi bhaji and the delicious fresh naan. It's also one of the few places with decent vegetarian options that don't taste like some leftover curry minus the meat. Service here lies somewhere between abrupt and faintly friendly, depending on the waiters and their mood on that day. It may also take them a while to either get to you or bring out your food. The silver lining is they won't be pestering you once you're eating or simply finishing up your conversation. Besides the restaurant itself, you can also order to take away/delivery, a good alternative if you're tired of the (bland) likes of Bombay Pantry. More...

Really good and pocket friendly option for a Sunday dinner. The staff is always fast and very helpful. We went there for a first time with my boyfriends flatmate who is Indian and great cook at the same time so if he recommends that place that's means something. Last night I had MUTTER PANEER and KHEER for a desert. I was so full I couldn't get up from my sit :-). Cheese was very soft and works perfectly with the peas and the sauce but wasn't spicy enough for my taste, although I asked for medium spicy. My boyfriend went for selection of small curries served with white rice in the middle and flat piece of bread. I don't know what's the bread name but I really love it. Kheer is so tasty that I could eat 3of those if I'd had some more room. Overall 5 stars for great Indian experience. More...
