I took in two of the family IPhones today. They both had cracked screens that were in terrible shape. They were different generations and sizes. I left the phones there while I ran errands. Before I finished the first errand I had text messages, voicemails and emails letting me know the phones were repaired. Fast, friendly and the prices were as good as any of the other couple of places I've asked over the phone. I'm happy with this place and I will be bringing them a MacBook that's having some issues. Prompt reliable and friendly service. They stand behind their warranty. Also, inexpensive as they spend nothing on advertising. I had a cracked camera lens on my I-6. The Apple-sanctioned store wanted $499 for a refurbished phone and I'd be without mine for a week. Chris fixed the problem by selling me a new back, which took some transferring of hardware. Awesome customer service !!!  I called on Saturday morning no answer. I left a voice message and was totally surprised to receive a call back within a half hour. Took my 2014 Macbook Pro into Mactek On October 15 2016 due to liquid damage. The computer has been in that shop pretty much ever since. As I write this it is 1/23/2017 over three months later. I have my macbook back but it is barely functional. They told me I could purchase a new motherboard and I did so. About 2 months later the new motherboard was installed. About 1 week after the installation the new motherboard failed and the computer would not turn on. I took it back to mactec and they told me their parts should be under warranty. They have since changed their story and told me their parts may or may not be under warranty and that they are "working" on getting the new motherboard repaired/replaced. Without discussing with me, they attempted a "refurbishment" of the old motherboard, gave the computer back to me with the old water damaged motherboard installed, and told me this was what they were able to do to resolve my situation. This is after paying them over $1,300 in repair costs. I order product "A" and they give me product "B". To make matters worse, the old motherboard that was inserted into the machine in a desperate attempt to resolve the situation, showed signs of failure a day after I took it home. I am still working with them to come to an amicable solution, if they manage to repair or replace my new motherboard I will update and edit this review.3/7/2017 Review Update: The issue has come to an amicable solution and I am very grateful that Mactek worked very hard to make this issue right. Fantastic service. I had a broken microphone/lightning assembly in my iPhone after a fall. We have use these guys have been very pleased. I upgraded all of my MacBooks and they did a very reasonable price. We had a software problem with one of our laptops and they were many hours on it fix it and actually did not charge us anything. I would highly recommend them.

My iPhone 5S wasn't charging.  I walked in prepared to to pay for installation of a new charging subsystem. The tech first checked the socket and cleaned out a bunch of cruft. This is an incredible little business.  I called about a problem with my Macbook  and with my iPhone and was told I could take them in to the shop in one hour.  Took them in and the tech spent about 1 minute fixing the problem with the Macbook and just handed it back to me with no charge.  I had to leave my iPhone for a couple hours.  The tech changed out a part several times, that was possibly involved in the problem I was having.  It didn't fix the problem.  They would not charge me for that either, and spent the time to tell me exactly how to report the problem to Apple Support.  A great experience....every time I have been there! I live in Redmond, so before I made my very small journey into Bend, I researched a few companies online.  I found these guys & really liked their website, especially because it LISTED THE PRICES of the screen repair.  Very easy to navigate through & all the prices are listed by what type of device you may have.  I gave them a quick call & the super friendly lady who answered the phone was very helpful.  Since I live in Redmond I wanted to know the turn around time.  I didn't want to have to kill 2-3 hours & was hopeful I could get it done quickly.  She spoke with her tech & advised they could turn the screen repair around within 30 minutes to one hour.  I was definitely happy to hear that! The place is easy to find & had plenty of parking.  The people that work there are super chill & friendly.  They remembered me from my phone call & knew I was from Redmond.  She let her tech know I drove a little to get there & he immediately took the phone back to get started.  They said it would take about 20 minutes. THAT WAS AWESOME!  So, I went back out to my car & listened to the radio.  I walked back in right at the 20 minute mark, thought I'd have to wait a few minutes, which would have been no big deal BUT the phone was already DONE!
